Hey Amit.. great job with the hair. I’ve been following you for a while and am thinking of taking the plunge for a HT in Turkey. Thanks bro 👊 take care and good luck with the wedding ! 🎉

Hey Amit, results looking terrific brother, well done! Question for you, how long did you wait between your first ht and your 2nd one? I just got my first one done 6 days ago and i will most likely have to go in for a 2nd one at some point to do the crown. Docs said 9-12 months but it seems a little early no? Thanks.
@amitposthair
8 ай бұрын
You can wait as early as 6 months but my advice is wait a full year. Let your first transplanted hairs grow out as much as they so you can see its final result before doing it again. I waited a year for mine so I knew what to expect the second time around!

Hi Amit - thanks for sharing your wonderful journey. Question; I noticed not many have talked about the pain and sensation in the donar area. I had mine done a week days ago, and since the 4th day, the pain in the donar area has been almost unbearable. I am on constant pain killers. Did you or anyone here experience the same ? How long did it take the pain and inflammation to subside? The site is clean, no sign of infection. Had about 4k implanted so the count of incision is high which plays the role in recovery too. Thanks.
@amitposthair
9 ай бұрын
yes! you've just had a tramatic surgery so naturally you will experience pain after the fact. I was on pain killers for the first week after my surgery. The clinic usually recommends to keep taking the pain killers if it still contiunes to hurt. But it usually should subside after the first week.

Thanks for another informative video Amit. I'm 7 months into my hair transplant and I've found my hair is quite curly when I never had curly hair before. I've done some reading and apparently during maturation phase (first 12 months) it can be curly until it reaches it's natural form. I was wondering if you had this experience with your hair as looking at your hair it looks very straight. Would really appreciate your feedback, thank you.

Hi I've been watching your videos and they are very informative.. Question I'm about to go to Turkey have mine done I'm 60 yo I was told I only have a donor of maximum 7000 grafts and they'd only do 4000 wanting to do another procedure once the donor is healed I'm a norwood 6 or 7... You said your first procedure 6000! Grafts were harvested I was told anything over 4000 grafts would damage my donor area however yours looks fine. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
@amitposthair
9 ай бұрын
hi there! that's amazing that you've decided to go get this done! honestly 7000 should be enough. For me i felt like because my donor area was very thick, they could extract more. I was initally quoted 4500-5000 grafts for my first session, which ended up being 6100 grafts instead. So even htough they've quoted you an amount, it may end up being more on the day, depending on how good your donor area is. Regarding overharvesting, after 2 procedures i can definately see some areas may be less than they used to, but if you keep your hair long on the sides, you'll never notice it. Which is what i do now to make it look as natural as possible!
