I can understand them changing the hood, as smashed or not, having a huge bug catcher intake would look weird in a junkyard. I think they are right though, as looking up pictures online, the damage lines up pretty much perfectly on everything else. It doesn't look any more roughed up then it did in the movie, more likely they just through dust all over it.

I still like when Dom pulls a wheelie in the Charger. As far as I know you need the back wheels to gain traction to do a wheelie, yet if you look closely he is smoking the tires at the same time indicating no traction. Both a wheelie, or smoking the tires are totally doable, just not at the same time.

Lol dom didnt have stickers on his charger in any f&f thats just a coincidence
@tommyle6716
9 жыл бұрын
It also doesnt have a blower like doms and one of doms wheels were bent in to a very harsh positive camber unlike the one in the picture he shows, on the side it says 66, 86 or 88 i cant tell and there are many stickers on the fender. The last ting i spot is the wheels, he had drag radials on this one doesnt on the rear and his front wheel base was small smaller than the one in the picture his rear was wide this one isnt wide enough

Re #3, the "cultural thing" you mention is because the Yakuza cut off their little fingers to mark membership, but also cut fingers off in atonement (for themselves or subordinates). Hence why Japan doesn't allow it to be shown. Even modern day Yakuza wear prosthetic fingers in public in order not to stand out so much. (Bonus thing you didn't know?)

Why is everyone like 'go back to what it was like in the first and second ones, when it was about the racing' it wasn't about the racing, it was about an undercover cop trying to infiltrate a gang and find out if they can kick their arses into submission. Which happens in the first, second and forth. Then in the fifth and sixth, a much more powerful cop is needed to try and kick the arses of the people who were doing the infiltrating into gangs, in the seventh there is NO MORE INFILTRATION, other than the third (which I'm sorry but was absolute shit), the seventh was the most different one, and it took us back to Race Wars, it had a lot of sexy cars (and tasty hoots for that matter) and it was a great movie, so why don't we you all just stop, and let the people who make the movies make sense let them make sense of the movies. (I hope I confused someone in those last 16 words, haha)

two more that are actually relevant to this clip, in the first movie...Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez didnt have licensees and in the scene where she first talks to Brian, she knocks her elbow on a dresser but talks through the pain. The famous wheelie at the end of the first one is physically impossible because the wheels need to stick to the ground to cause the car to jump but that isnt happening if they are spinning in a burnout. Also, that scene and the scenes of the Tran chase were shot on the same blocks in Training Day where Denzel and Ethan Hawke tail and pull over the white kids that cops drugs from the Mexicans(they guy that plays Hector in the 1st and 7th one)
@WhistleTeets85
6 жыл бұрын
U are correct about the wheelie burnout... They had something about it in the special features on the DVD. Can't remember what they used to prop the car up tho. LoL, as inaccurate as it is...it was still pretty cool.

Another Herby fun fact, in that same film during the Derby scene they used two other cars from the film The Highwayman, a film that is far far far from being on the Disney Channel, they used the 1968 Plymouth Baracuda, and the 1971 Cadillac Eldorado from that film

I don't know if that's actually Toretto's car on the Herbie movie, but what I wan't to know is why in charmed season 6 episode 2 you can see the actual cars from fast and furious in the background. I mean, seriously, go watch it, there's a fight scene in a garage and you can see Toretto's red Mazda, and the green Eclipse. You can see the red Mazda more than the eclipse, but they are the same cars, same stickers, everything. And I've never found any information as to why they are there, or anything, and it drives me nuts!
