Liked it so much, I bought another one w/only 19k orig mi on it. Finally gave in and bought a 21' Vulcan 1700 Vaquero this year for my first "bagger". Seriously considering getting the ECU "Flashed".

Where the fuck is Triumph Bonneville ,Triumph Speed Triple ,Suzuki SV650 and Ducati monster? The monster literally saved Ducati singlehandedly in the 90s from bankruptcy . It commands a different kind of respect from riders , which even streetfighter V4S won't get you because let's face it streetfighter is just a costly hooligan that most people don't buy and can't handle on the street. That is meant for track days literally. But the monster is a monster just like the Bonnie ,Speed triple and SVs of the world I mentioned the speed triple because it was also one of the bikes which was part of the Slow Revival of Triumph in the 90s alongside the Daytona .It's among the first major threat to the Monster as they both kicked off the naked bike segment from early 90s.The Bonnie started the whole modern retro trend from 2001 onwards sure people might say kawasaki w650 started it in 1999 but it didn't even get a rear disc brake but it was beautiful to look at . Triumph fixed it all later to kick-start a whole new segment of bikes. And finally the SV650 because it's the favourite 650cc beginner standard naked bike on the planet 👌. New and old riders love it and respect it . You rarely go wrong with a SV650 .

The H2 is crazy fast. But I would likely choose a ZX14 over it. The supercharger is a collection of extra moving parts to break and the higher combustion chamber pressure created by a supercharger puts more wear on the head boots, gasket.... Kawasaki might have engineered the engine to compensate. But I don't trust a supercharger over thousands of miles.
@Gismo3333

They make airplane engines. Think you underestimate their capability. The H2 is not at all pushed to the limits. Seen people boost them up to much more HP. And they work fine. My father has had a 1st Gen vmax and 2 2nd gens, his current 2nd Gen makes about 235 horsepower at the crank and enough torque to haul a fifth wheel. It's been modded and frankly actually looks pretty good in my opinion, and she's got quite the story. He always loved crotch rockets and has ridden tons of them (everything from a R6 to a Hayabusa), but he doesn't like the discomfort. The bike definitely commands respect, and I've ridden his before. I haven't been riding that long but I got to expierence the power for myself and it is ridiculous, it's an insane bike, and quite comfy. I just upgraded to a Gen 2 fz1 (inspired by fast bikes but wanting good ergos for prolonged street use), and yes I absolutely love the bike and it's very fast, but still doesn't hold a candle to that vmax They are amazing bikes and if you ever get to try one never turn it down, it's an expierence you won't ever forget

As usual you skipped an iconic bike with 164hp & 126Nm of torque! That was a breakthrough in sport touring category if not it's mother and father!

The best part about knowing a guy who used to drag race motorcycles in the 70s and 80s? "I've ridden a VMax. Honestly? They're fast. But not that fast."

One minor problem w/that, they were faster than most out there, but they kept lighting the tire up from the shaft drive at the start.

Stock no. But one thing I love is the aftermarket support for them. Some mods took mine up to around 170-180hp. Doesn't even take a whole lot. Jet kit and good exhaust will yield 20hp.

I like to think this was basically a video of yammie screaming 'turbo BUSA!' but in a much more socially acceptable manner.

I ride a 87 GL 1200 and before that a 80 GL1100. Everywhere I stop the comments are "nice bike" or "you are riding across the country alone on that?". I ride. People respect that.
