I don't agree with his assessment of how house numbers work. For instance, my house number is 4029. I live on 40th Street between second and third avenues. A house in the same position on 39th Street would be 3929. Usually, you have odd numbers on one side and even numbers on the other.

I love watching you guys, but you sometimes have a very unrealistic fantasy about what real life in America is like. I realize that certain things may look better to you compared to where you live now, but it's not all lovely, big, and easy (I've never been to Algeria but I have been to Morocco and I've worked in Ghana and South Africa). Just understand that all places have positives and negatives. America is not all positive and where you live is not all negative, even if you are comparing it to the USA.

I can assure you Americans are not all blonde. Nearly everyone in my family has a different colored head of hair. My own hair is auburn. My brother got the fire red hair in the family. My cousins range from dishwasher blonde, to mousy brown, to brunette. Some of them can tan in the sun, and others cannot.

Regarding the native history, it is difficult to tell because they did not write any history down as it was oral. There is many archaeological sites showing cities, but we know nothing about them other than what we find in the grounds as they often became abandoned 100s or 1000s of years before being rediscovered.

Not everyone has guns, but there are more guns in civilian hands than the military, and more than there are civilians to fire them. It’s partially due to the founding of the country being an armed rebellion (and the enshrining the right to self-defense in the Bill of Rights), partially due to the frontier spirit that we still have a bit of in the more rural areas, partially due to a very large hunting culture that still exists in large swathes of the country, and, unfortunately, partially for self defense against crime. Hostile wildlife still exists too, but not nearly as much after the land has been developed. If you’re interested, there’s a channel called Kentucky Ballistics who does a lot of gun related content on KZitem with an impressive private arsenal.

Native American is an erroneous term. American Indians came to North America from the region now known as Mongolia. DNA studies back this up.
@jjbud3124

What would you call them then, native Mongolians? As they were the FIRST residents in the western hemisphere, which is the Americas, they've earned the Native American title since they've been here probably 42,000 years more or less.

each street besides having a name has a numeral address (such as 2000, 6000, 300) which in many states go up the further out from the center of the city (not necessarily how many miles away but that is a good measure) by "block" (space in between crossing streets) so addresses of buildings on each block will be numbers in between the two crossing street numbers. I probably just made it sound way more complicated than it actually is, sorry.

This shows what is called subdivisions, where the same builder builds same sort of houses, but many more people don’t live in them, own property and have homes on their property. No crushing neighbors to deal with. I prefer it. Apartments, mobile homes, small homes, different styles, medium and what used to be called McMasions, smal mansions& big giant homes. Gotta pay those property taxes, every year. So weigh all

Route 66 was one of the first major highways and was heavily advertised when it opened. It was said to go from the west coast to the east coast, but it only came as far east as Chicago. Those signs you see are just because, at one time, Route 66 was a big deal. Canada's sense of country and that of America is so different. I don't know the exact connection, but they share the same sovereign that Great Britain has, and Canada is a member of the British commonwealth, but is an independent country. Having fought and won a war not to be a member of the British commonwealth, the US is very patrioticaaly proud of its independence from any other nation.

Blocks are numbered. What seperates a block is a street. Each block raises in #. Every block in an area from city center is one, until a street cuts through it, the next block is #2 until a street cuts through it, then #3
@bornstndnupntalknbak

Our blocks here start at the river and go south. The first #of the first block usually starts at 1000. East to west starts at the city centre and start at 100 both ways. Probably confusing to people not used to it

Canada is different. More expensive, higher taxes, far less freedom, more government control and sensorship. Healthcare rated far below the US. Canada shuts down hospitals throughout the month due to funding. Canadians come down to Minnesota to pay cash at our hospitals because they can't get CT scans and other procedures.

While Minnesotans of a certain class don't get care because they're afraid they can't afford it. Is it better to wait or not have care at all? How many Canadians file bankruptcy because of medical bills? Answer: None. In the US medical costs are the top reason for bankruptcy. No Canadian with a medical emergency gets turned away. Those who are not emergencies may have to wait. Can ANY American besides people like Elon Musk pay cash at any American Hospital?
