Take off your shoes and take leftovers are Finnish customs as well. Also, the "don’t accept at first" has a Finnish variant: when invited to go take food / sweets and drinks when ready, don’t go immediately but delay out of modesty and see if somebody else wants go first. It’s called "kursailu". Then, there has to be the first one to go, which can sometimes be a little funny/awkward situation.

Its kinda funny I work fast food and my boss is Persian, if a chicken patty isnt the right way he takes it home to his "dog", hasn't named it yet or even the kind of dog, just a dog.
