Something I’ve been trying out is setting my iPhone’s triple button press to turn my phone grayscale. Whenever I need to focus but can’t turn the phone off completely, I set it to grayscale and my mind gets tricked into seeing it as a more boring thing - helps me stop myself from scrolling for hours!

Loved the video! One of the habits that I'm prioritizing these days is short meditations. I'm doing a personal 30-day challenge for the month of June where I'm simply meditating for 5 mins each day. Even though it's a short amount of time, those few minutes really make a difference in how calm, peaceful, and resilient I feel.

these were great! just want to say since you mentioned possibly having kids one day, that sleep is erratic the first couple years so its good to have good habits to help in any way you can now. parenting a new baby was such a life change because I was so naive to how many ways your life changes and self care becomes a luxury until you are able to make it a priority.

The best self-care habit according to Ayurveda to become happier and healthier will always be to take regularly 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil on an empty stomach. In this manner not only all the waste deposed in your intestines will be excreted, but the toxins deposed in your body will be eliminated via the liver too.
@DinsFlame-br4pr
Жыл бұрын
wow, that sounds extreme! castor oil is such a thick oil, are you sure about it? I mean digesting oil on an empty stomach isn’t new, and yes I’ve heard it has loads off benefits. But castor oil??
@enemanozzle
Жыл бұрын
@@DinsFlame-br4prCastor oil is no drink but a fatty oil, that ought to be predigested with the saliva. So you will have to take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) castor oil in your mouth and mix this there with your saliva for 30 minutes before swallowing this one. While doing this you will not remark anything of the bad taste of castor oil for the receptors concerning castor oil are in the background of the mouth. By salivating castor oil for a sufficient time this one will lose its bad taste, its high viscosity and will no more irritate the mucosa of the stomach.
