I can relate to you too. I used to do that a lot. But I learned new ways to talk to myself. I learned that I am only human, and everyone in this world is a living creature too that they make mistakes also and that's ok. Then I learned that if no one on this planet will ever love me because I say things I should not say, I will still survive by loving myself. And it helps me. Also, I learned to put myself in the shoes of others. So, if my friend would say something that I did not like, would I still love that person? The answer was always -Yes, I will. And by learning those things I felt loved and secure and little by little ruminating stopped. I hope it helps.

I can't emphasise how important it is to have a "me" day every so often. A few months ago with uni, I totally 100% burnt myself out physically and mentally from overworking and not looking after myself, and I have diagnosed mental illnesses which made it all worse. Burnout is no fun, and you shouldn't push yourself so much. One of my friends got me to talk to one of my teachers to explain what was going on, and they were very understanding - so people in similar situations, remember that not everything is a "do or die" situation, and recognise that there are people who actually WANT to help and see you succeed! So, take a break when you need it, you're not weak for needing some time to recover and look after yourself, even if you need to do it a bit more than other people!! Make sure you eat well, KEEP HYDRATED, and do some exercise if you can too, because all these things contribute to good mental health as well. If you're lazy, eggs are an excellent source of nutrition with most of the nutrients you need for the day, and are a great source of protein, and orange juice would fix you up for vitamin C. If you burnout, your immune system weakens too and you're more vulnerable to sickness too, so it's super important now to keep that in mind! Look after yourself everyone and rest up, buy yourself a treat!! ☺️💕

What goals are you setting for yourself in the next year? How are you going to get to those goals?

I am related as well on this video. I have like 4 of them that I am related which is: 1) I am always thinking about the past and Thinking that I always make mistake. 2) That I feel like not getting support during difficult times, even when I am trying my best to find good information for my health, but I am wondering if its legal or illegal. 3) I am setting unrealistic expectations, like I am thinking about the nightmares that I had and keeping thinking about it repeatedly. 4) I don't sleep enough, also its because of what happened to me last year and I got depressed because of someone who did harm to me. I am also a bit scared of what would happen to me or what do I do. So what I will do to fix this and get rid of my mental health issues is I would tell to my parents, siblings and friends who are close to me about my mental issues and They can help me. Thank you for the video that you made. C;

You can talk to your parents about it , or a guardian , these are two best choices , so they can take you to a certified professional, mental health is not a scary health case , you can be free from it , peace

I am an avid #MentalHealthAwareness advocate and spoken word performer, and I love this so much. I travel the country trying to bring that awareness on stages, in classrooms, hospitals, and on my KZitem channel, so I get excited when I see other advocates. 💙❤

Love all your videos, thank you so much! 💕As someone dealing with depression, anxiety and worst of all (for me) PTSD.. Your videos help me a lot to understand my behavior/thoughts/feelings. I hope that you could make more video’s about triggers with PTSD how that physically and mentally works. I’m easily triggered the last couple of weeks. I’ve got my PTSD from domestic violence and sexual abuse by my ex. And every time I hear people scream or fight I will freeze and panic. My body reacts heavily and that stays for days. Same as a specific car driving by or a straight/serious look in someone’s eyes makes me nauseous and gives me anxiety. But most of my family and friends don’t really understand how I react so intense and long to a trigger that, in their eyes, is something small. Would love to show them a video that could explain it better than me!

How do I stop ruminating? Unknowingly, I've been ruminating for the past few years, thinking it was normal. This video has taught me that this behavior is not normal, and I would like to stop. I hate ashaming myself and picking over what I could've and should've done instead of moving on.

I suffered a lot from ‘endless’ sleep deprivation, tons of stress (due to exams and learning environment), tiredness, not being able to sleep, frustration, isolation, panic attacks, anxiety, and so on all of these COMBINED. Do NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH FOR THIS. It is not just bad, but also terrifying. Even a single day can lead to disastrous consequences.

All of these are *really* relatable. My mental health is being harmed. I can't really stop it I've got no one to talk to except Aurora. She gets me and tells me to stop fixating on my "dark midnight past" and focus on my "shiny aurora present". Then I could start thinking about my "bright lunar future". She is *the* wisest person I've ever known besides Luna of course.

Recently, I’ve noticed that certain things that don’t directly affect my personal life have been detrimental to my mental health. It’s usually when I videos on KZitem discussing current events or certain comments on the comments sections of said videos. A few days ago, there was a change made to one of my favorite games that was controversial to the point where people said that it will fail because of said change. This upset me to the point of lashing out at them on the comments section. Could you make a video about getting too invested in things that are far out of your control or getting worked up about stuff on the internet?

Oh dear I tick a few of those. I'm living with a fixed mindset, even though I'm trying to change it it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I probably seek reassurance more then I should but I don't know how much is a normal amount so not sure about this one. I also don't have much support, I have friends but they are busy and I don't want to lean on them too hard. Life is a struggle for sure.

I relate to every last one of these. I've been thinking about wanting to see a therapist, but what holds me back are other concerns: Finances, finding the right therapist, medications, & do I have other mental ailments? I'm also one who puts others before herself, so I detriment myself even further. I just don't know what to do for me anymore or how to accomplish it.

I’ve hit all of these points except 2 & 3. Still miss my dogo and think of things I should’ve done in the past and being a boy is rough. Expectations might seem unrealistic, not morally supported, no financial support, lack high intellect and raw talent. Yet I’m still aiming to join the industry as a artist with a late start of self studying 5 years after high school.
