@@adauda5263 Sad but true. For such a small player, his quickness and athleticism were key to his success. After his hip injury (and all the other ones that followed) Isaiah Thomas really slowed down. Thomas was a decent passer, but his scoring ability was what made him great. It sucks to see him struggle to even do that now after all the injuries.

Rondo was good in the Bulls. In fact, his absence in the games 3 onwards in the first round of the playoffs against Boston was immensely felt. They were up 2-0 against number in the East, Celtics. When he injured his thumb, the team had no sense of direction and eventually lost to them. I'm not a fan of Howard and I don't know what really happened, but it seems to be only a coincidence that his skills dipped when he got traded. Probably it's more because of the injury, which the KZitemr acknowledged (but not enough to remove him on the list).

Grandmama didn't decline due to being traded to the knicks, his physicality and explosiveness dwindled because he had severe chronic lower back issues. That's why he had to adapt and develop into a reliable 3-pt shooter to contribute.

You missed a huge part of Larry Johnson's decline. Larry Johnson's numbers started declining after his back surgery. I think you forgot one of the biggest ones ever! DERON WILLIAMS for the Utah Jazz. He complained his way out of Utah. Even tho while he was here he was in the conversation for the best point guard in the league. And had a very valid argument to be the best in the league. But as soon as he was traded to the Dallas Mavericks he was instantly not the same player and never regained his status as a top PG let alone a top 20 player. Which is really sad cause if D.Will would have been happy not being able to wear a head band and I live in Salt Lake City and we don't have a great night scene but he should have been happier winning and being a top player than living in Dallas and having great strip clubs but losing his spot as a great young player. And he had a huge fan base here in SLC, UT. You should do a video on him.

I knew once Dwight Howard had back surgery for a herniated disc that he would never be back playing at an elite level. I used to work at a doctor's office doing worker's comp claims and most of the patients had a herniated disc and ended up never being able to work again because of the pain. Howard was able to be dominate because his whole game is based on his athleticism but I knew his career was over after that injury.

Clearly you do not know much other than stats bud: Deng it was his surgery and any player who played several season under Tibbs has gotten hurt. Kemp still played well in CLE but the lockout he gained the weight. He would have gained the weight in Seattle had he stayed during the lockout. D Howard had the horrible back injury and he has never recovered. Even after the recovery a year plus removed in HOU he was not ORL Howard and never came back. Rondo was NEVER the same player after his injuries and once he lost his quickness in the new NBA he wasn't the future hall of famer. still a good player but NOT the same. Hibbert lost ALL confidence after teammates slept with his girlfriend. (2014 PG13 slept with his girlfriend and it came out during a practice and there was talks of other teammates doing the same) Ty Lawson was an alcoholic and was traded for a 2ND round pick. They knew he was done so his following years because of alcoholism he is not the same.

In the Roy Hibert case: 360+ NBA players seems like a lot, but that's 12+ players per team and to stay in the NBA, you really need to show that you belong there. Well, sometimes you're just a paycheck collecting scrub like JR Smith, but you know, 360 spots is the elite of USA so to speak. If you compare that to the number of players that were in the NBA drafts and players that tried to get into the NBA from Europe and overseas from Asia, Africa, South America, it really means "be a great player and you will earn your spot".

Deng has a banged up body. Rondo is a head case and his respect for Pierce, KG and Ray Allen kept him in check. Shawn Kemp had a drinking problem. Stephenson another head case... Don't know what happened to Hibbert. Ty Lawson had drinking problems. Larry Johnson busted his back and was never the same. Dwight Howard, another person who busted his back... All these trades were made because of something... That was not a very good list to be honest. It is not like the "trade" made them bad... They were already failing, but new surroundings just exposed them more as they were no longer doing what they had been always doing...

People do not have to wonder now why Kawhi did what he did last year after not feeling 100% after he came back last year, D.Howard as well as Isaiah Thomas should serve as perfect examples of what happens when you come back to soon or when team doctors tell's management your okay when a person knows there body better than anyone else. Isaiah lost out on probably 100 million plus, Dwight will never be the same, just like when Boogie Cousins comes back from Achilles injury he will not be the same player he was before and that's why he went to Golden State because it might be his only chance to win it at this stage of his career!!!
