I was 20 from Malaysia and had just arrived in Japan for a few months. My co worker invited me for a tea ceremony by a Japanese Tea master. It was night and I was driven to a quiet Japanese house welcome by a Tea master. Nothing much was said and I was guided by the tea master to have an experience that till today I never had. I had an immense bliss during the ceremony. I had no idea how and what happened. It was the most incredible experience I ever had in my life and I am 63 now.

From Brooklyn, a big thank you for the effort you put into making these videos. I can imagine the hours of work that it requires. There’s so much garbage on KZitem (and in social media in general), where the content is just there to excite or make people buy things. I don’t know much about how KZitem monetizes things, so maybe you make some kind of profit from these videos, but you seem very sincere about helping people. So for that, thank you. I can tell you that for myself, I am inspired by your videos and they are a great reminder to me of the way I want to live my life and of the values I want to teach my family. Thanks again!

I watched and listened with great attention. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would like to keep these principles in mind every day... not only the goal is important, but also the path we travel to reach it. I felt a sincere feeling of gratitude . I am very far away, in Italy, but I felt like I was in that room, I bowed to enter and drank your matcha. Thank you very much 🌿

I love the concept of 'once in a lifetime' doesn't have to be this amazing unique event. It is every moment, because it will never happen this way ever again. Makes everything feel special and my life feel more meaningful, even if what I'm doing in the moment isn't a huge profound thing.

I have started drinking matcha every morning after watching your videos, and it has brought me so much joy! I only have a simple setup (chawan, chasen, and quality matcha) but even the act of whisking matcha every morning is such a mindful and meditative activity that it brightens my mood for the rest of the day. I get out of bed much more easily knowing I can look forward to drinking matcha. Also matcha is so delicious that I will choose it over coffee any day! So I just wanted to say, thank you so much for sharing the joy of matcha with us all. I would love to experience a tea ceremony one day, but for now I will enjoy matcha at home :)

Such a beautiful video explaining such a beautiful, simple and humble concept. This is also practiced in India. We have prayers for stuff / objects! Why? To show gratitude not to the object but the fact that we have this object that aids us in life and to be grateful for all that we own, know when enough is enough and to not want more. It's a part of yogic practice. Sadly the West has understood yoga to be asanas and asanas alone i.e. moving the body for physical health. Yes. But Yoga is so much more! The first code of yoga is ahimsa, to take the vow to not kill or consume anything that was killed. Aka ethical vegan. Anyways. Thank you so much for this beautiful video that explains a beautiful and wholesome concept that the Japanese practice as well. Your room reminds me of my grandparents place, so simple, so humble yet so fullfiling in life.

I just live your videos. But one point always puzzles me: how can people drink tea or matcha at night and still sleep? Always puzzles me with Espresso after dinner as well. Can you sleep? Do you train up to cafein resistance? Thank you 🙏 you put so much work and love into the videos and it really shows and transports. In one video, you say your English isn’t as fluent and a friend helps you to script it. But you smile and movements and attitude would also transport meaning and information, even if the grammar might slip occasionally 🥳
