i love how Peyton's eyes light up after Brian said that her dad should buy a new ball python or the one she was holding. i love how excited people are with reptiles. i myself do this all the time.

my 6 yr old daughter would love to get to meet you sometime. She watches your videos with me a lot of times. She's the one that got our family into snakes. She had been asking for the past 2 or 3 years and I always said no. I was always a fish guy. But we gave in and got her one. Now we have 3. Love watching the videos. Maybe we'll try to make it to a convention you're at sometime so she can meet you.

This is great for my 7-year-old granddaughter who is obsessed with snakes. I personally have reservations about the capture, trafficking, & sale of wild snakes. Snakes in the wild are awesome but in captivity I feel it’s sad & very problematic because there are so many irresponsible owners (think the decimation of Everglades wildlife by pythons). Snakes are not a domesticated species & probably shouldn’t be. Maybe rescues who can’t survive in the wild would be okay as pets.

Let me get this off my chest: Every video Brian tells multiple times how much he loves the awesome animals he encounters, wherever he is. But I got suspicious about this, because these beautiful, awesome, animals, at his facility and basically everywhere he comes, and shoved into plastic boxes for the duration of life. I suppose only able to stretch during cleaning and breeding, which would be a couple time a month at most. I know only few snakes could be considered 'active', yet this method of keeping and breeding can't be anywhere close to the lifestyle these animals get in the wild. And if he really loves these animals, why does he have an obsession for 'making' them different colors? Even going as far as breeding on with morphs that are known to potentially cause neurological disorders within the animal? And why would he make the males breed many times and pushing the females to the limit in producing as many eggs as possible? I have stopped believing that Brian loves the animals themselves, but rather is obsessed with the cool colors and patterns that can be achieved on these living canvasses. Don't get me wrong: I love the snakebytes show (fuck the vlogs tho) and am a reptile keeper myself too, but something about the whole picture just isn't right to me. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this..
@loganstorm43

Well Brian has to breed the snakes so he can't just have massive cages for each snake. He is making a zoo so that he can display different snakes to the public saying that he doesn't love animals is just stupid.
