Hi Nat and Trace, so glad you are home and on the road to recovery. Wow that first bowl absolutely stunning! You could paint inside the holes with black nail varnish if you didn't want to sell it or refire it. Oh wow I'm typing and watching, the carved out bowl love love love it. The colours on the bellied vase sooo beautiful ❤ the indigo float bowl is gorgeous. The beach bowl wowzers. Thankyou for the shout out I am waving at the TV 😅 yes I did amaryllis all over the marigold and then a coat of flux blossom over to help it get fluxy. I also think kiln is hotter I go to 1180°c and do a 30 minute hold. Yours is still beautiful though😊. Love the butterfly plate, gorgeous shape too❤ a fantastic kiln opening AKA the Ceramics by Julia show, that made me laugh😂Sooo happy to hear Trace. Big love to you both from your friend Julia in the UK❤❤❤

What a kind heart you are, picking up everything and carting it to your friend! You two are truly kindred spirits! OH MY GOSH! I have a DRIPPY SISTER! I love it! Far in distance, close in spirit! BEAUTIFUL BOWLS! All that piercing and carving is so much work, and it truly paid off. The glazes are soooo lovely! Your Sunset plate is pretty! I have a Watercolour on Pottery, vid coming. I dip the bisque in water first, and then I utilize Gum solution. It went well. The testers will come out of the kiln soon. 🤞 Thank you again for the shout-out and the binge watch😅😅😅. My best wishes to you and Trace! 🇨🇦

@mudmagic407 Beautiful sister! That is so sweet! You are not wrong because sometimes I will do a blended underglaze on leather hard too, but if you want a more of a watercolour look, bisque ware is probably a better choice! ❤️

Welcome back Trace! Love the black bowl too! If no one has already mentioned it you could use Maycos stroke and coat black (it's called tuxedo) and just cover the white unglazed spots and put it back in a bisque. That way your other colors should mess up. Just an another idea for you. Love the videos!

Wow. I absolutely love all of the bowls and the vase is just stunning!! Soo happy to be able to hear Tracy again! I pray she gets better soon. For the obsidian on the cut out bowl you could low fire it with tuxedo from stroke & coat. Just a suggestion so the other colors won’t change. Absolutely beautiful kiln load!!!
