While i can appreciate the 11+ from a suspension standpoint - I do believe that its a little late to the game at this point.. When did the Original Kaabo Wolf King with the E3 Display come out? 2020? And just now in 2022 Vsett finally has a 72 volt unit??? Some other items to note is the lack of tubeless tires and the lack of Sinewave controllers, like the competition is all using now... I would feel kind of sketched out going 60 MPH on a innertube, but thats just me.... In Summary and from my perception, it doesnt seem like a true evolution, but like they just took a regular 11+ off the shelf and swapped out the 60v battery for a 72v battery and called it a day I own a King GT and have personally via GPS gone 62 MPH on my unit, have tubeless tires, sinewave controllers, amazing display, and all costs several hundred less new versus new then the 11+ Super

Thanks for another great review. The comparisons to other similar scooters are very helpful. At this price range I think stability at a reasonably high speed is a *lot* more important than ultimate top speed. A scooter that can go 45 mph and still feel solid is a lot more enjoyable on a daily basis than a speed demon that can get to 55 mph but feels like you’re risking your life at that speed. It’s too bad the Segway GT2 is so expensive. It might have the best combination of usable high speed and stability on the market right now.

I totally agree. Peak top speed is not useful. It's fun to have the speed and acceleration but a top speed at 50 mph is enough and goes a long way. So things like stability, comfort, ergonomics, brakes etc. become more important. I mean many high end scooters have just have spring suspension so a scooter with hydraulic suspension would be more preferable as an example. Anyway so far I don't feel any need for an upgrade from my Vsett 10 but I still want a Nami because of the awesome looking tubular frame.😉😀

I ordered a Nami Burn-e 2 Max 40ah at a great price ($3500 USD / $5200 AUD) and it's currently being shipped, for me the lack of IP rating is an instant no for a commuter, although this looks great as a wolf king competitor. I don't even really need the speed the max 2 will offer, but I want that quality build, longevity, waterproofing and the 40ah version seems like a ranger monster. I've had a Kaabo before (Mantis) and I think the Nami will run rings around it in virtually every way conceivable. That frame looks indestructible. Thanks so much for you reviews and set up guides etc, very good and helpful content, and Paul is a fantastic presenter, certainly helped me make an informed descision.

I’ve owned this scooter for several months and have around 600 miles on it already. It is definitely fast don’t think it’s a slow“ poke it’s not. The scooter will get you in trouble pretty quick if you don’t know what you’re doing. Also, I have the center display and it’s not that good in the bright light and I wish it would show battery voltage. It doesn’t. Another thing I really don’t like is the on off throttle. It’s very hard to ride this scooter slow even on mode one. But the cruise control works great you could set it for different speeds. I would highly recommend a scooter. I have a Mercedes E350 and it does fit across the back seat but the handlebars hold it down pick up the front end first and wheel it in and pick up the back it’s not that heavy happy. And forget about the mirrors they definitely suck. Pretty much useless. You have to take your eyes off the road in order to look at them which is very dangerous at high speeds. I mounted a mirror on my helmet, which works so much better.

Between the tires, controller, display, throttle, turn signals etc. it appears this scooter is stuck in 2019 like all other Vsett products. ESG Team, any particular reason you recommend dual-motor riding at all times (except for rain)? Is that recommendation exclusive to the Super 72? If not, does it apply to all dual-motor models? As a GT2 owner, I use single-motor ECO mode to maximize range, but in your findings, does dual-motor yield better range results?
@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
Жыл бұрын
So glad you asked! We haven't seen improved range running single motor for normal riding. We have seen burnt controllers from sustained hill climbing in single motor mode. This was mainly on 60V scooters though. Also... the fact that Segway makes a single motor version of your scooter, the GT1 means you're probably completely safe to continue running single motor if you want to. They've clearly done the work to make sure it's ok. It's also possible that you'll see some advatage at low speeds (15 mph or less) and flat ground, but I'll bet the gains are absolutely tiny (like 2%). Enjoy your GT2! Excellent scooter! -Paul
@ArtemMoshkovich
Жыл бұрын
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Really, really appreciate that insight, Paul. My wife rides the P100S, and definitely isn't a speed demon, so I opt for single-motor ECO when riding with her to ensure that I don't race ahead, and equally as important, that I maximize range (as discussed here). As a side note, I wrote up a detailed question regarding your GT suspension recommendations and posted it as a comment on the GT video review. A fellow ESG team member tagged you for feedback, so if you can spare a moment in the coming days, I know that I and several other owners would greatly appreciate the clarity!

Thank you so much! You can use a tubeless tire with a tube installed. Most of the popular tires of this size are made to so they can be used tubeless. If you install them on a split rim, like this one, then a tube is needed in order to seal, since the vast majority of split rims are metal-to-metal where the two halves join, so they don't seal. -Paul

Thanks for watching twice! You can always play it back at 0.75x speed. I tend to watch everything at 1.5x to 1.75x these days :-) -Paul (the fast talker)

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide I got excited when I saw 72mph, 3 to 5 miles off would be okay but I wasnt ready for that actual top speed 😅

54.9 mph is a big difference from 72 mph that’s clickbait at its finest bronco 11 is the way to go thank me later

The point we're making is that the scooter's speedometer indicated 72mph, but was it really? That's why we put a question mark at the end. If we were some other channels, we'd just report it as 72mph and call it good, but since we rigorously measure stuff, our numbers tend to be lower than most single direction phone-GPS. I keep hearing high top speeds reported from so many scooters, but so far none have come true when it's time for a land-speed-record-style two-direction speed run. If anyone has a Bronco in the Bay Area, please reach out. I would love to take one for a top speed run, or document a speed run with the owner as the pilot. -Paul

I think it looks better in person. I definitely prefer the look to the red and blue V11+. Have you seen one first-hand yet? Thanks for watching, and commenting! -Paul

@EScooterGuide it's the yellow and black, I prefer the slick look of the nami or the red and black of the storm.
