What can we do with an old broken guitar amplifier?
In this series, I'm going to use the remains of a budget tube amp (Peavey Valveking) to build a Dumble ODS style amplifier for just $75! I've started with a working chassis, Celestion Creamback speaker and cabinet, plus the original Valveking transformers and other parts that I've recovered from the previous build in this same chassis. I'll have to buy some additional components, including capacitors, potentiometers, tube sockets, and other things I don't already have lying around - all without going over the $75 budget.
