Very nice overview man.... I think a lot of the wrasses bury them selfs. My six line does at night and creates a cocoon like mucus covering it's body... My pistol shrimp causes the same sand cloud prob. It also kills hermits and uses their shells as support for its burrow entrance. This hobby is full of crazy critters lol. Keep vids coming ... 👌

CJ'S AQUARIUMS I've heard of pistols killing hermits, I don't think mine is. My hermit numbers have been steady for a long while. Snails, that's another matter. Now I wish I changed it :(

40s still doing good. Haven't been able to buy any calc or alk lately so it's pretty nerve wracking. But my acro is finally starting to spread over the frag plug. Everything else seems pretty good too. Only bad thing is aiptasias gone wild and I've got a lot of vermatids. They're almost worse than aiptasia it seems. When I get a new setup, I'm starting with new rock and moving everything over after the cycle.

The tank is on the small side. Not sure where you're located, but Purple Tangs are very expensive in the states. If you really would like one, I would suggest purchasing a juvenile and removing it when the fish outgrows the tank. Otherwise most will tell you "No, don't do it."

Ralph Joseph Hey Ralph, my RBTA split frequently. To the point I had to rescape the rocks to create a barrier between the anemone and SPS colonies. I recently just sold four anemone "corals" because I had too many. As of right now I'm down to just one. I do not feed them anything. Any solid food they get is from food in the water column. The seems to really like being high on the rocks with moderate to high flow.
