"The day the sixers get past the second round will be the happiest I will ever be. Ever be. Ever. Be. " is low key the most depressing sports take for a major market team I have ever heard.

Just like you said, had Tatum been drafted first overall in 2017, it would be a completely different story. If you want to go back even further, the ripple effect of the Celtics/Nets trade in 2013 is why the Sixers/Celtics rivalry is the way it is today. A healthy Embiid and Maxey will be solid next year, keep the faith, it will be so sweet once they make it to the eastern conference finals. As a Celtics fan, I'm not even excited until/unless we win the Finals this year. Yin and Yang buddy.

As a fellow sixers fan I still have nightmares on the daily of Fultz, Okafor, and Trading Away Mikal Bridges. Of course the biggest nightmare is Simmons. However I still have hope and according to the rumors we are supposed to possibly get LeBron this off-season so let’s hope for the best

From one Ben to another ( much younger) the Celtics in recent years have been a well run organization and have drafted and developed well. Also a couple key free agent signings, definitely hasn’t hurt. 76’ers aren’t far behind young man. Keep routing for your team no matter what!

If you guys can bring in PG and keep Embiid and PG healthy next to Maxey, ya’ll will have a chance to reach the ECF next year at least.

Gotta remember though, the Celtics had the #1 pick that year and only traded it to philly because they wanted fultz. The Celtics would of drafted Tatum at #1 if they kept that pick, philly had the 3rd over all. Lakers had #2 and wanted lonzo ball. 6ers could of had mitchell or foxx though smh wild. The year before they took Simmons and could of taken the best player on the Celtics though... Air jaylen

I remember after the Celtics got the #1 pick, I started watching Fultz highlights and was surprised at how few people were in the stands. It just didn't look like a big league atmosphere, and I started having my doubts. When they traded the pick, I was upset at first, until I watched some Tatum highlights. Holy shit, it was like night and day, both in terms of the atmosphere he played in at Duke, but in how damn smooth his jumper was. He played in front of packed houses, in a big time collegiate environment. And his game just looked a lot more developed than Fultz. Thankfully Danny saw the same thing, and was able to make that trade. I used to like Embiid, but his game keeps getting dirtier. The flops, the falling on other players, grabbing a guy by the ankle who's jumping when he's on the floor was really shitty. His shooting form is designed to elbow guys in the face. I hope he grows up and stops playing like such an asshole.

Why do people think sixers had a chance to get Tatum? So delusional. Celtics had the number 1 pick and Danny Ainge fooled the sixers GM by trading down so sixers can get their favorite pick "Fultz". Danny always wanted Tatum. If Danny got any hint of sixers drafting Tatum, he would have never accepted that trade.

there is a difference between 3 Phily & 17 Celtics titles my man. Celtics don't hang up ECF banners. It really is chip or bust mentality
