Ok so in my opinion the second one sounds the best mainly because it sounds more natural and balanced in the tone, the sackbut also sounds good but is a little bit more harsh on the articulation. Edit: all of them sound good, just first and second go to the trigger and the sackbut

Price doesn’t always reflect an instruments quality. Material and mouth piece, especially for saxophone, matters most. My tenor is made of red brass/high copper count in the actual metal. And my mouth piece is standard black- the difference really lies within the mouth piece as a completely different sound comes out of it when I use my metal mouth piece
@inthem8riX_
Жыл бұрын
speaking of mouthpieces: i got my durga 5 mouthpiece (REALLY loud metal jazz mouthpiece, same one leo P uses) as an early grad present, right in time to get used to it before my final concert of senior year, where I played Moanin’ for my senior solo, and i played it really damn well, leagues above what i could have done before. because of that mouthpiece, my high school’s beat up student model YBS - just for a fleeting moment in its long, battle-worn, unglamorous, hard-working life - turned into the star it was always made to be.
