why is their not being in time so intime?
@OBROathletics

Well if you look closely it's not. It is doing alright but it certainly could improve. Everyone's technique can be better and the boat can be more set.

no I mean the feathering is like catapillared, in time but not intime, idk if that makes sense

Oh yeah I get that. Like we are all feathering and squaring at different times. Then we catch at slightly different times. A huge issue is that nobody except 8 and 6 actually "back the blade in and lifting the hands". I am 8 seat by the way.@@noobpilotfrfr

I am trying to get footage up from me in the varsity eights, maybe after this weekend's race.

ask your coach if you can all check your handle heights by letting the handles float at the finish to make sure you don't need to move a spacer. If that doesn't make sense, ask your coach, they should understand what I am talking about.

Thanks for the advice, however from my personal experience within the last 8 months, there is a lack of effort within the boat to make a change.

Time. Time. Time. Name of rowing should be time. You could have an awful stroke technique, but if you’re out of time, then you’re going to be hurting the boat so badly
@OBROathletics

Exactly, being out of time and catching at different times greatly reduces boat speed. It also unsets that boat and causing drag throughout every stroke. I made varsity a while back so I don't usually ever row in that boat.

Keep your head facing forward. Your always going to be out of time if your staring at the oar
