I doubt that film is Pro 160NS, around 2012 you had Pro 160C and 160S. 160C was discontinued, 160S renamed 160NS. Even earlier you had NPS160, NPC160, NPH400 and NPZ800. To my experience Fujifilm films tend to age well, better than colour films by Agfa or Kodak. I shot a roll of Fuji Superia 100 in 120 (expired 1999) earlier this year and the colours were just perfect. Much better than CN films by Kodak from that age. This roll of yours must have been stored really bad.

I just looked at the wrapper and it was in fact NPS160! And yes, I have to agree, the film must have been stored really poorly considering the results.

Dang. Sucks that the 160 nps didn’t give good pics. Shot a roll in Mexico on a Contax TVS and the pics were insanely gorgeous and sharp. Such a good film! You can still buy it in 120. It’s named 160 NS. Last few rolls expired in 2023, but they store really well.

I actually had some fresh rolls that I sold off. I regret selling them so I’m on the look out for another box.

I like your photos, especially that subway one. Can you leak why you sold it? Or simply whether the decision was related to the camera versus other personal reasons. I'm asking because I'm looking at getting one. From my research they seem to be really well performing, but very fragile. I am considering one because I'm hauling around an RB right now and more often than not I tend to leave it behind because it is a bear to cary around.

I honestly sold it because I was worried that the camera would eventually stop working and I’d be out a bunch of money. It was literally my favorite film camera that I’ve ever used though. The camera and the 80mm lens was perfect. I felt that I started to see compositions before I even put my eye to the viewfinder. I would see something I thought was cool, and when I looked through the viewfinder, it was exactly how I wanted to capture the scene without be having to move around. I would love to get another one in the future, but as of right now, it’s a hard purchase to justify with the cost of film and the “fragility” of the camera.

It looks really nice, and how did you scan it, DSLR scanned or Epson scanner?

Thank you! All of the images were scanned with a mirrorless camera and converted in LR with negative lab pro.
