Im in the thick of toddlerhood right now. I’m not perfect but I read 5 chapters of the Bible to the kids before bed time. I finished reading Matthew to them we are on Mark. They play while I read and to my amazement my 4 year old asks me to read more. My goal is to read the entire Bible to them each year. Prayers I teach my 4 year old today she had difficulty sharing so I taught “Jesus help me share please amen.” She immediately was able to share for the rest of the day. Another prayer for the morning is “Holy Spirit fill me up with your presence please Amen.” The kids love worship songs and to sing to them. When my daughter is playing by herself she is singing and humming worship songs. Listener kids is a pretty good KZitem page.

Hi thank you for the video! I have two young boys at home (2 1/2 and a 3 month old) and my husband and I struggle with creating good habits but here is what we got so far: -going to church weekly, even if its just online. This one was tough for me because I never went when I was a child -going for family walks a least once a week -having dinner with each other AT THE TABLE. I never ate at a dining room table when I was a kid, my family didnt have one so this one is more difficult than I thought - keeping a Sabbath day ( I try for Saturday and then Sunday the Lord's day) This one is also difficult! Lots of prep -keeping a low carb diet. My husband and I avoid cheap carbs throughout the week. This has gotten easier actually -Going outside, even if it's just for 20-30 minute walk to the grocery store and back Things that need work: -less tv! -I need to read my bible more. I listen to the christian radio station in my car often but I'm stuck on Kings 2 right now lol -maybe a more accurate cleaning schedule. My previous one is working against having a new born -need to be around more christians :/ -my attitude!

Great video Sis 🙏🏾 My family are followers of The Way so a lot of our daily activities and interactions in our community are Biblically influenced. We pray multiple times a day (whether we're together or not) and everyday at noon we gather (via conference call) with our church family for prayer and a short teaching. We adhere to the dietary law in the Word so we are always talking about what we can or can't consume with our son. We also recognize the Sabbath and set it apart, including all the Holy Days of the Bible. My son does see other people and families celebrating holidays and it always brings forth a teaching moment about the roots of different holidays and gives us a chance to reaffirm what we celebrate. Our lifestyle and beliefs are definitely not typical, but we wouldn't have it any other way. 🙏🏾

Can u tell me more about sabbath and the dietary law and the holidays (&difference)?
@psalms50_5
Жыл бұрын
@@smaragdstyle710 yes, without being too long winded we follow the 10 commandments in Exodus 20 KJV. We believe that the law was never "done away with" per Christs own words in Matt 5: 17-19. That the only thing "nailed to the cross" was the sacrificial law and the immediate judgment of sin (hence grace). Therefore we honor the Sabbath day (4th commandment) and we adhere to the laws in Leviticus and the Holy Days. We are aware swine and unclean foods are in everything so we research everything that comes in our home to the best of our abilities. Passover is soon approaching, and we celebrate in March based on the Enochian calendar. Most, if not all holidays are pagan. To ensure what we celebrate aligns with the Word of God we don't participate in any holidays including birthday 🎂 celebrations. I guess we would be considered pre-Constantine followers of Christ. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Another idea: Music All Around. When we're on a road trip (long or short), we each take turns choosing songs that we listen to together. We hear gospel, contemporary Christian, African, jazz, R&B, K-Pop, movie & video game themes, etc. (Note: We don't feel that all secular music is bad.) The only rules: the choices must be clean and there's no judgement. This allows for family bonding and expansion of each of our musical worlds. It also gives us parents the chance to hear what our children are listening to. Sometimes we have discussions about lyrics, etc. We have several children, ranging in age from 34 to 15. My husband and I have learned to allow each of them to have their own interests, without judgement (as long as the interest isn't ungodly). MAA has been a fun way to do that. Thanks for what you do, Bindi. The info you share is valuable.

I am amazed that many are able to homeschool. They truly must have been raised in a way to be ready to take that on. It is a mindset / lifestyle, and your home needs to accommodate that. Many of these women husbands are able to work from home and hands on grandparents or other relatives live nearby. By the time I realized how important it was to have Church friends / community, it was too late and overwhelming to start homeschooling. My kids have all gone to public school, thankfully this area is not as liberal / progressive as other school districts. I'm grateful for these opportunities & others like household responsibilities (I wasn't always thrilled about the cleaning as I felt like a maid/like I was the ONLY one cleaning) but I thank God for the practice before I become a wife & a mother of different ways I can please God with my home, how I can change the atmosphere to a peaceful & comfortable place... I know I'm all over the place with this comment, but I'm soo glad I came across this video... I've learned that your prospective on things can greatly change your feelings, mood, or the reason why you do things... when I look at the things God has blessed me with, it's a blessing to steward those things well & not a chore... I'm currently writing a children's book that will be bible stories, I can't wait to have my own babies to start my own routines with...I love the family walks idea, I do that now but use it as alone time with God, I probably would also add picnics because again I do that on my own & would love to incorporate my family, once God blesses me with one! 💕🥰

We have a Bible verse of the week, up on our fridge, right above where we get water, so we remember throughout the day to recite it together. My little dude is 2 and I try to choose shorter and more concrete ones. After a few days of me reciting it, I'll start the line and he'll finish the last word or two. If they can memorize Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and whatever else, they can memorize God's Word!!

So good! One of our habits is praying whenever he hear an ambulance for the Lord to send his angels to help the people involved. Thanks for the reminder to do morning devotions - I’ve got to get better at this!!

Thank you , u have helped me in ways I didn’t think would make an impact. I show my children how to world can be wicked and how we should always thank God for the little things . But not in the way I express Gratitude. So thank you .

Very happy to stumble upon you channel. This has blessed so very much. My spirit kept tugging me and I’ve been procrastinating to get back into things I know better to do. I could cry right now… simply for the Holy Spirit allowing your videos to use you to speak to me. Thank you. 💕💌

Honestly my family does just about the same things your family does. We enjoy walks, I constantly remind them to do our work as into the our Heavenly Father. We cut off electronics during meal time and for our walks. We watch biblical teaching on KZitem together and talk about it. We are learning to do everything from scratch we are u learning to relearn.

Great video. Some things my family and I do would be- praying before dinner, praying before bed time, putting on Christian music and just dancing and having fun with each other, church, youth group. 💜

I think it is such an amazing thing that the kids get Bible study from you in the morning and bible study from their father in the evening because you said an example of what type of woman they should be and he sets an example of what type of man they should marry. And not settle for less.

We have many daily traditions but right now, we are in a crazy season and our traditions are changing (but with intention). But I want to share one of my favorite traditions: We go on long long road trips in the summer (and shorter ones throughout the year). We all get sick if we try to read in the car but we do not allow devices (actually, my kids don't even have any) so we make up games, have conversation games, we listen to audio books and podcasts, etc... we have named all the states, named all the books of the Bible, named all the Presidents, etc... this year, I told them I want to memorize the order of the books in the Bible so we can be better about finding scripture while we discuss it together.

As a mom who sent her kids to public school for several years, I would implore you to look in to homeschooling. Said with love and no judgement. I sent my kids to school through 3rd and 4th grade. I regret it deeply and I wish someone had nudged me sooner. ❤️

You are awesome! My kids are also in public school- the Lord actually TOLD me to send my kids there believe it or not! And it is SO important we are putting those godly principles into place in the home so that they are equipped *in* the world (but not OF it!)

Hi love your videos as they are inspiring for me a new mom to two. I have been trying to get my schedule together with a lot of prayer and one of the tips I would like to add is something I am trying to implement. I was praying to the Lord regarding my husband's fidelity, he is a great husband but I had let my past interfere so many years with our relationship. One night I had a dream and saw one of my sisters in Christ telling me that she wanted to give me a message from the Lord and it was about this (I hadn't spoken to her about it) to incorporate worship after dinner as this helped with arrogance and went on explaining the relationship between arrogance and men having concubines.

We don't follow all of these habits in our household, because they don't fit our overall beliefs and have found other ways to live that suit our family in particular, however, Yah is our highest love and priority. We adore his Word. I just wanted to say something because you sound like a spiritually strong woman who is leading her family with her husband in such a beautiful way, and with a passion for the Bible. I loved the skirt set you displayed in the beginning of your video and I respect that you have come up with a modest clothing line! That is amazing, Mama! Keep seeking the Kingdom first and may we both be kept by Him and keep our family united in prayer in humbleness before Him

A great book to read with Kids now and as they get older is "Seed of Jochebed"by Kim Haney. You touched on being good Stewards of our finances, I love that the Bible requires that of us even when the world want to pull us the other direction. I would also back that up with also being good Stewards of our time. We only have 24hrs, and with that we should use it as wisely as possible, not being wasteful or compact with things that brings dishonor to Christ.

Happy Sabbath /Shabbat Shalom. I play your video today thankful! Your videos are appreciated ! The scripts do say his church was not built by the hands of men and that the Hamashiyact IN is is our hope of glory. Also that whereever two or three are gathered I am in the midst! Where we go we are HIS church. The main time His people are instructed specifically to congregate physically ( we digitally congregate too now) / or the men at the least are instructed to congregate together are HIS Holy Days ( not the man man helluva days man made up). My husband is the Deprogrammed Enlightener here on KZitem , he teaches often. Feel free to join anytime with your husband! Love your videos! Keep up the great work unto our Father Yah Achwath. Shalom!

Hello! I love all the habits you shared! We also practice singing together 1 hymn a month and 1 “heritage” song. This has blessed our home. We also read together at lunch time. Right now our favorite is “Porch Lies”. I have 5 children ages 13 to 2.

This is so beautiful. Thank you for putting your voice of love/charity of Heavenly Father and our savior Jesus Christ out onto this platform. Seeing a woman, mother, and wife that holds values that make life seem peaceful and pure with God is something I sadly feel like is rare in this day and age. You’ve shown me what I needed to work and strive towards and that’s a gift that you have given me and will forever be thankful for. I needed to see and hear this and it gives me hope and peace that everything will be more then okay. Thank you 🥰 I hope you are having a beautiful day ☺️
