It's funny how we all still practice a liturgy within the Church. First comes the Word, then Sacrament. Tim preaches and then they have communion. That order of service is almost 2,000 years old.

Intentional inaccuracies, unset or underset expectations, failure to disclose information, avoiding topics, made-up facts, and misrepresentation-anything less than our best efforts at full transparency and clarity is a lie and is worthless. The intent of Jesus is for us to be able to work together in as much harmony as is possible for humans. Further, he wants us to go a step further and work to create as perfect certainty as can exist between people so we can rely on each other. He wants us to eliminate doubt and replace it with perfect trust. He wants us to have hope in place of ambiguity. When we do anything less for each other, we undermine all of us for our own sakes. There’s no room in the kingdom for anything less than our best. There’s no place for people who cannot be open and accountable! We must be fully critical of everything we say and think so that we let nothing out that is less than what is best for all people always.

"It's much easier to control people than to love them and to honor them and their dignity and their input." So true and it is the reason why many churches struggle. Many are set up with a lead pastor who can become THE voice of the church. Goes against him and you are going against God.

Hello, what I’m understanding is that lies/dishonesty breed fear, so my issue is that I’m holding myself back because I fear the lords judgment. But I’m not necessarily being genuine. I’m trying to keep to the Bible as best as possible, my actions, words, thoughts, etc. I’m keeping a lot held back, any recommendations please and thanks.

Scripture tells us that God hates child sacrifice and punishes those who commit it, but then He sacrifices His own son? I'm confused.

Hey Tim, A little off topic here but I see a running theme when you talk about communion/the eucharist. Given that you put a lot of emphasis on the historicity of Christianity. There seems to be a lot of historical relevance in your teaching. That said, newer Christian saved and baptized in the past three years. I go to a charismatic church that approaches the eucharist similar to the way you do. However, from everything I've read and heard from the early church fathers, they approach the eucharist with the idea that it truly is the body and blood of Christ. Scripture seems to back this up. I just want to best understand Jesus's intentions for us the church in this remembrance of Him. I want to honor God the best way possible in this. Curious of your thoughts and if you have any reference you can point me to for clarity. Thanks brother! Matt

That’s what Catholics believe. Protestants do not believe the bread and wine are the actual or literal flesh and blood of Jesus. Welcome to our large, diverse, & sometimes nutty family, brother Matt! :)

I'm terrified of God. --- I listen to tim like 3 or 4 times a week depending on whats going on.also reading through the bible along with the videos. Is it possible to have a vision? My ancestors and family went to church and even some were ministers.I take it pretty seriously. But reading the scriptures I don't know how you don't be afraid of Yahweh.

God doesn't want us to be afraid of Him. Only the evil one loves it when people are in fear. I had turned my back on God at the of 12 and in 2020, at the age of 63, I found my way back to God and started reading the Bible for the first time in my life; I figuratively needed to change into clean underwear several times a day. I was that scared. To make a very long story short: I found Tim's own channel and his The Bible Project channel (very recommendable) here on KZitem and it didn't take long before the fear disappeared and changed into respect and love. I silently and unilaterally talk to God several times a day and wish He'd get WhatsApp or Twitter to get a response back😊. But that's not how it works. His responses are more subtle.

Literally why I don't want to be bothered by anyone that comes to Los Angeles. They want to "be somebody" they're not. Burn all the people they can and if they don't gain power, move to another location with a new narrative. Often claiming to be from LA. Most people from LA leave as soon as they get the opportunity unless they're trapped in this hell hole 🤯

29:15- using chruchanese/ xtianese... prefixing intentions with peace about..." to make our actions more holy. I can see why he said just say yes or no. ummmm 34:11 w/ words we hide from each other; a #smokescreen 38:32 - Jesus Life offered to us as a Free Gift, that we might Live thru him... Thru him we're being recreated... btw bro... you're making me well up, because of teh anointing on you and in your delivery, it's conviction is the Word itself, but it's w/ Compassion, empathy, and encouragement to endure... May the God of all mercies and all of the above; the Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah that is and is coming, enable us to /merit this (John17). In his merit and virtue may the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in God's sight our strength and redeemer.
