This is great stuff. I would slightly disagree with both the spelling and meaning of 'oppeulaille'. I would spell it: Oupelaï. I would describe its meaning: An interjection typically used to underline a surprising small mistake, minor bad luck or slight disappointment. Rarely I've seen it used to referenced a positive or even neutral surprise.

In Molière, I forgot what play, de même was used in the Québec way and I remember that a footnote was necessary. It was an old Larousse edition of the play. I am sorry that I do not remember the play!!! Incidentally Japanese also has affrication in front of the t as in tsi except that in Japanese it is tchi. Also the standard liquid "r" in Quebec French is a perfect Japanese "r". This makes the Quebec r and l indistinguishable forJapanese. So Japanese and Mandarin have some features similar to Quebec French.
