The problem with Magneto is that if X-men is supposed to be read as an allegory for the civil rights movement is that if the X-men universe were real, then Magneto's vision for the future would be right--not Xavier's--because the genetic classification for mutants is literally Homo Superior. If Mutants were the next step in human evolution, then there would be nothing wrong with the death of humanity. In fact, an attempt at peaceful co-existence would be unrealistic. *Even though peaceful co-existence among the races is the right path in the real world. But if you really want to get into brass tacks, then Homo Sapiens would probably outlive Homo Superior--not the other way around--because they always get into mortal conflicts with one another. The only ones that would have a chance to outlive homo sapiens would be the one born with healing factors AND the good sense not to use it for superhero reasons.

I would add on two things: There was an issue where he literally tore a few of The Neo apart (They attacked him first, but he RIPPED apart all but one!). Aaaaand in X-Men #25 (The same issue where he ripped Logan’s Adamantium out.). Before he fought the X-Men, he caused a massive backlash where he retaliated against being trapped by the UN. His outburst shut down electricity all over the world. This resulted in the deaths of a lot of people. That was probably the worst thing that he ever did.

Always enjoy when you do reviews and your closing statements. Honestly catch myself crying at times cause I don't get to hear those words in life This last one I'm actually having trouble writing. Wanted to say thank you.
