(Links below) (11 weeks) 8: I tried to get rid of cottony infection around Big Phal's roots by repotting. I cleaned and used local moss (ferny type). The infection might be mealy bugs.
I had to get rid of my homemade pot; it had too many nooks for infection to hide. I also had to throw away the relatively new potting mix (sigh). I cleaned enough local moss to repot twice, but only disinfected enough for once.
The disinfection scared me. It was sizzling and hissing and giving off vapors. I was worried that the peroxide might be more concentrated than usual, so I added water. (I checked later, and the label said 3%; standard issue.)

My monitor still wasn't working, so I couldn't use the camera to see close ups, the way I normally would. That'll have to be a later video.
