Done many different styles of star blankets, came upon this one and immediately started it for my new great-grandson. Thank you for a beautiful pattern/tutorial. New subscriber now as well!

I had started this blanket as stated below, but was using Lion Brand pound of Love, which is a 4 ply but on the thicker side of 4 ply which suggests using a J106mm/4.25mm hook. I thought that if I used a size bigger than what was being used in the video, it would be fine. I was somewhat over 1/4 of the way through, and boy was I wrong. Just because I have gotten away with doing that for so many years on other projects, it was turning out tight and heavy as heck, needless to say I am restarting now and using the hook suggested via the yarn ball band. If you don't want to have to frog later onfter putting so much work into the beautiful blanket, do as Crochet Nuts says and use the hook the yarn you are using as suggested. Now it's nice and flat and lesson learned for me , no more short cuts LOL.

Can this be made as big as one wants?
@CrochetNutsTutorials
Жыл бұрын
Yes, just keep going until it is the size you want. As long as you keep the stitch count right it will lay flat however big you make it

Can you do a bubble instead of the popcorn?
@CrochetNutsTutorials
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can work a puff stitch, popcorn or even a cluster as they all have one stitch to work into on the next row 😀
