And there are also many people who stopped watching baseball for years and started watching MLB only for Ohtani from last year. And there are also so many MLB fans of other teams started watching Angels games or, at least the Ohtani KZitem videos, because they couldn't help not loving Shohei 🦄 even they dislike Angels😁!

I'm a Phillies fan, but Shohei Ohtani is my favorite player right now. It is shocking to me that a starting pitcher hit 46 HR, had 100 RBI, and stole 26 bases last year. And that was just the hitting end. With his pitching, he went 9-2 with a 3.18 ERA, striking out 156 while only walking 44. He can throw 100+ mph. It's insane. Watching him (via highlights) get 8 RBI in one game just blew my mind. I haven't seen that many since Jayson Werth did it with the Phillies. 8 RBI for Shohei, but the Angels still lost 😳😳😳😳🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️Edit: Whoa, 1,000 likes. I'm very humbled. Thanks, everyone! 😊

Look up 1916-17 Babe Ruth. That will convince you otherwise. 330 Innings pitched in 1916 and ZERO home runs allowed. Even for the deadball era, that was a first. He was the first known pitcher to not give up even 1 HR, not even 1 inside the park HR in those old huge ball parks like the Polo Grounds. That is unheard of. 1.7 ERA and 9 Shutouts. Led the league in ERA, ERA+, and only gave up 6 hits per 9 IP.

@@paysonfox88 Impressive, indeed. However, I think he was only being a pitcher at that time. Except one season when he was mediocre as both until they made him only a full-time hitter. The best way to describe Ruth is that he was a great pitcher who later became a great hitter. Shohei is playing at considerably high level as both simultaneously. I think because simply he is in better shape. If you look at Ruth, he didn't look that way. He didn't have the kind of athletic prowess to be versatile like having the speed to steal bases. Much less have the stamina to do all that in the same season.
