That’s a great point , but moderate black coffee ☕️ 👍. The issue is people are consuming all this fancy coffee drinks mixed with others things nowadays and then they order the biggest cup out there and don’t realize all the sugar in it. And by doing that, the coffee essence and richest is gone. I remember back on the days when we produced coffee, adults would drink a very small cup of black coffee ☕️ in the morning and sometimes another one in the afternoon if we had guests and even the teenagers will get black coffee in the morning, of course with some sugars, but very light brewed coffee and adults will have the strong brewed like espresso. 😎there is nothing better than a small cup of black coffee ☕️😋!!!

@@Vmedicinal I agree (re the scan). But it is true that a certain segment of the population do have a genetic predisposition to caffeine sensitivity. (this from... Dr. Andrew Huberman PhD - Stanford Neuroscientist Professor & Researcher - in one of his weekly podcasts on biology, neuroscience, brain & our nervous system). He won't state any findings as a 'fact' unless it's study-supported data that's been peer reviewed, repeatable, & published in a respectable science journal. A scan(?) Is not going to reveal genes, I don't think. (could be wrong, here, but I don't think so.) So, yah, I'm somewhat skeptical that this caffeine sensitivity was revealed in a scan. I just recently found your channel, as I'm getting into intermittent fasting, and have been bingeing ever since. I now only have one cup of coffee with stevia in the morning and many days forget to have lunch as I no longer have hunger cravings. I also always have mtc oil with dinner followed by a lemon/ACV water as a post meal beverage. Thanks for all the great vidoes!

I had fatty liver for almost 20 years, then after drinking black coffee (no sugar) twice a day for a couple of years my fatty liver is cured. This was an unexpected benefit at the time as my focus had been to eliminate sugar intake, and I didn't realise the positive affect on my liver from drinking cafe americano's until afterwards.

Fatty liver cause by lot of sugar. Coffee not really help on fatty liver cure. I am obese before. Sugar and carb make me obese, fatty liver, hi cholestrol and sick Now i am in good BMI. Zero sugar and very little carb. Consistent medium to hard cardio exercise (cycling, running, simple kickbox). If no exercise, no carb no sugar, just full bowl of salad and a spoon of mayo, grilled chicken / beef / egg / fish. Now I am fit, great stamina. Good bmi, healthy food/lifestyle is the key to live better. Sugar, carb, carbonated drink, alcohol, energy drink, too much oil, etc 100% contribute to fatty liver. Talk about drink, just drink all w/o sugar like coffee, tea, plain water, fruit juice (dragon fruit low calories).

Good to know. I was recently diagnosed with fatty liver and I do drink coffee but only drink it black with certain foods that go well with black coffee. Most of the time I add cream and Splenda or a little sugar. I will try to do black coffee more often.

Coffee ruins my moods, my skin, my sleep, my energy, raises my anxiety and ruins my teeth, and that's with 2-4 cups a day. If I drank 1/2 a cup to one cup a day maybe I would see these benefits. I switched to green tea, organic matcha and I don't have any of these issues. Everyone I different, so this is just my experiences, but alot of people I know who drink coffee, have similar problems. Plus it's so addictive, it's a slippery slope for using it responsibly and on moderation. So I just remove it, so it's not even an issue

@roberttreasure1986
2 жыл бұрын
Sure, take your supplements when you fast, especially potassium and magnesium. Don't be tempted to drink a lot of water because you'll be flushing out whatever you have in storage, but of course, do drink when thirsty. I actually would avoid fasting when you have low iron. Your body is already in a compromised state and you should be healthy as possible when fasting. It is fun to fast with someone else too, but in the past, I had a friend who urged me to go past my limit, and my body saw this as stress. Within 6 months about half my hair fell out. So be careful and nice to your body and don't overdo it.

My morning coffee routine is vital to my lifestyle and helps me get started each day. After years of gymnastics, wrestling, lifting weights and construction (still going) my body has , is feeling the effects 🤪 My coffee routine as follows: organic Arabica coffee, organic coconut milk (no additives), Kratom (checked for heavy metals, mold, bacteria etc.),milk thistle, ginger,green tea extract, bromelain, tudca, and one Zypan tablet……recently started Trans-Resveratrol, MNM, And TMG. A normal day for me could be moving a ton or two of boulders, a few tons of dirt and a few tons of 1/2” rock solo by shovel and wheel barrow…… then gym. Also need my Dr Burg fix for a physiological boost!!! He is an excellent teacher and very kind hearted…..

@@geoffoakland thanks for reply! I’m 58 and still working my butt off doing very physical work and then I try to get to gym 2-3 times a week plus walk 5-7 miles a day. I have to be active or It effects me physiologically , I don’t feel like I’m doing the best for me etc….. that being said I have to look for anythingI can to help me perform and feel good. I’ve been researching all my life about food and supplements. Yes the things I mentioned I take might sound extreme to most people but most people at 58 are not moving tons of materials and walking 5-7 miles a day and then going to the gym if they can muster the effort. I track everything I eat and my weight because something happened about a year ago that caused my gut issues and I had and still have IBS. I did a series of things like natural antibiotic’s, strict diet, and re introduced pro biotic’s etc…. Still have to be careful with vegetables and fiber. I eat a lot of healthy fat and good protein with berries and avocado…. Because of stress and not knowing what was wrong with me and reduced gym time and reduced calories I had lost 20 pounds . Now that I am tracking calories/macros and using scale and being more diligent again with gym I have gained 8 pounds back and on my way to normal life, and feeling better so far! Diet and mindset are critical… Also I was taking PPI which has a lot of issues so fixing that too! It’s a rabbit hole..

Hello Dr. I drink 4 to 5 cups day. Love it. This is shocking news. My kidney works at 53%. I used to have 2 cups a day period. Then jumped to 4 to 5. For the longest time when I pee, there’s bubbles in the toilet. Since I changed to 4 to 5 cups there’s no bubbles. Is coffee the cause? I’ve also started eating asparagus, as I hear it’s excellent for my Kidneys. Love reading all your infos. Thank you Doctor. ❤️🇨🇦
