I kinda agree with how smart watches shouldn't really be turning off all it's features because... that's how it was designed. If you use a watch just for the time then maybe it's fine but the focus should mostly be about embracing the features out devices have!

Great video... My GW4 gives me a day and a half and I have always on display turned on. Took off the Bixby voice wake up, good tip. @@Scrappy-KZitem I dont know. I prefer tilt to wake. I think it looks better when the screen is off and just turns on when I want. I never had a problem in telling the time, the response is so fast that it wont matter. Plus, AOD makes the screen darker, so in a bright day it's tougher to see.

Most people seem to be not too smart. Reddit users regularly report 2 days battery life. After watching this video, realized that Bixby was not turned on, do turned it on. Screen used to turn on easily, so stopped the wrist action that turned it on. Screen on time can be shortened very easily & quickly, by covering the whole watchface with any hand, etc. To stop accidentally altering, or screen turn on, the pattern security feature can't be used. Turn off unused smartphone applications & features, can extend battery life. After this video, my current usage should be easily be more than the previous 2 days, 2 hours (50 hours total). Australia, so using the version, August 1st 2021.

As a fanatic Samsung user (think of TV, 3D glasses, the first watch - the s2, watch 3 and now also the 4) Just to forget the buds first generation and now also the latest new ones, I am really a fan. I was actually disappointed when Samsung started to number the phones differently. Because I did have a series of S2 4 6+ 8 edge and the 10 edge. I now had to go to the S21 ultra. That took some getting used to. But also a great phone. What I now notice about the watch3 and 4 is that they do not switch automatically. The 4 will automatically take over when the S3 turns off. But it should also be vice versa. Especially because I also wear my watches at night, because of the battery consumption, I have to change them every day. (sometimes 1.5 to 2 days) the S3 lasts longer. Do you happen to know if there is a trick to make that switch go better?
