Hi Matthew; this is a video I can relate to because I ride a bike just about like yours except no motor. I did put an electric hub motor on the front wheel that I use just going up hills or crossing a street in a hurry or something like that. It is a cruiser I bought at walmart 6 or 7 years ago, single speed, pedal brake. It surprises me how quiet the engine is on your bike. It's pretty impressive & seems to work nice. You were really moving coming down those hills. Beautiful country side and not too much traffic on the road so that's good. I went back to look if you made a video building the bike but I didn't see one; if you do have it you should post it. Thanks for the ride along I'll be looking forward to the next one.

no unfortunately I did not record any of the bike being put together I just enjoyed the process and I didn't know how to put it together at first so I didn't want to have to edit a whole bunch and it would have taken me twice as long to record all that and get the bike together so I just didn't record I might in the future couple years down the road perhaps build another one on the channel and show it but for now we get to ride around and have some fun and experience some stuff thank you for the nice comment

You look handy with a welder. Actually those are great little carburetors. The needle and seat can be problematic when you fill your gas tank to the top. If you have flooding, turn off your fuel valve, mine has the push button to drain the bowl, then rigorously bounce your back tire a few inches from the ground to give it a good shock. This will often free the needle and seat so you don't have remove it. Also, I don't know why these kits come with an air filter. They won't run right with those on there. Nice bike build.

Thank you I’ll try removing air cover. I was curious about that. Definitely play around with the curb and see what I can do but I really do want to buy an upgraded carb.

@@matthewworkshop5371 Many on YT say some of the speed carbs are not worth it. I would look at brake upgrades. I had a coaster brake until I twisted my axle one day when a car pulled out in front of me.

I have the same exact motor for quite some time now. Once you get a better pipe, it's gonna get up anny hill no pedalling. I only moded my pipe slightly and that made it take me places ive never been before. It just went everywhere like nothing. Like a slow dirtbike. I never had it running rough when i fully broke it in and opened up the pipe a bit. Now i have a mz65 clone pipe and a 36 tooth sprocket so it's not a climber anymore but it's better for road and further distances. I need to build another bike with the same motor purely for terrain and hilly riding.

my friend after it has gone through about three to four tanks of gas I'm planning to give it a muffler mod or a pipe and a new upgraded carburetor with adjustment screws hopefully

Sounds like it's too lean in gasoline, are you mixing the gas and oil @ 16 to 1? Use less oil @ 32 to 1. That Wooaaaah woooaaahh sound means there's not enough fuel and the oil doesn't help when it's this heavy a premix. Use good synthetic like Lucas and don't use E10 gas. Non ethanol is better.
@matthewworkshop5371
Ай бұрын
I'm running it at a 20:1 mix with non-ethanol gas the spark plug looks clean not the chocolate brown color it's supposed to be I am pretty sure it is the carburetor it's not allowing the motor to run properly the oil to gas ratio is what the specifications online on their website said so I was just running with what they were telling people to do

Pretty, but, REMOVE YOUR FENDERS, or face injury or possible death. No excuses will save you when they SHATTER due vibrations and buckle your wheel up. And it happens more than you can imagine.

@@thewaffle3945 @armeytank I plan on buying a newer better carburetor and an exhaust for it I think it will really upgrade the performance and how it runs I would love to be able to adjust the carburetor and tune it properly I have it running at a 20 to 1 mixture for oil to gas ratio and the plug looks like it is running lean so I really hope that it doesn't burn itself up thank you guys for leaving such nice comments
