Dude! I'm still surprised that I did not know about you before, you should have way many more subscribers and your channel should be blowing up! There are so many things right with your channel and as you probably know I have been watching several videos and I will be watching probably all of them all worthy of thumbs up for sure. I follow many youtubers and they are great but you are different! by that I mean you bring the most important element to facilitate some one learning guitar. That is inspiration! you sound great and make me want to play the moment you come with your riffs. That is how I know I wanted to learn how to play guitar. I heard a riff that move me and I would feel like I must learn how to play that. You bring that to your lessons on top of key concepts. I don't know if there is others like you teaching this way. you are by fare the most inspirational teacher I know! and I know a whole bunch. Been playing guitar since the 90's some one like you is an invaluable asset on anyone's learning path! thanks!

I love playing this stuff and my heart is broken because a lot of Christians watch my channel and I feel like I’m in prison because all I get is negative comments about being a devil worshiper. I have finally just started uploading it anyway because I LIKE LISTENING TO IT. I liked listening to the metal sound you played. It’s just such a shame in today’s time a person can’t do with approval what they like which is ROCK & AMEN.

@jasonstallworth Jason , When you playing , to get a faster rythm or of lead or shred, riffs, how much are you useing more of, meaning more of when you holding the guitar pick , with your thumb Index fingers, or is it more in the wrist and palm of your hand, 🎼🎸iam just learning how to do things creating my own as I go, yet for some reasons I can't get the right strokes of rythm / lead actions as you do and others, I hold the pick with my thumb 1 index finger, I tried 2 index fingers and thumb some reasons , I can't get it to stay that way, it goes back to my thumb , 1 index finger when strumming the strings , your excelent guitar musician , Artist, I commend you on your style of teaching and playing. I know I will never be that good, yet I know I want to be the best I can to it. I stay commited, loyal, to my creativitys. I can play, 🎼🎸🎼🎹🎙🎼 I learned all on my own, just don't have the knowledge , like you guys got, yet I admire, all that you do and others, I appreciate your expertise, your a great inspiration to me so many others, Ty 🙏 🤘⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For me I play my own homegrown riffs because so many I know have been getting copyright strikes. I kept it metal but this is the reason I don’t upload others stuff. Many I know have gotten a copyright strike. My guitar playing I want to be a unique and very rare bird. Horse Edition was epic where I can play genuine Horse Whinny with no whammy bar and still keep rhythm for 30 minutes. Horse edition is the craziest riff I have ever seen and I came up with it.

Some music theory lesson would be great. After years of playing, i still don't know what a key means, what "laws" apply in certain keys. There are so many "mythical" information, but no guidelines from the very beginning. I think you could explain basic music theory in a way even dumb and dumber could understand :)
@jasonstallworth
3 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I never dug too deep into theory! So I'm probably not the best person to try to explain it. I may dive into it a little more just so I can help others understand it in a simple way
@vaughanmacegan4012
3 жыл бұрын
They are not laws per se - more along guidelines as to what will sound good given a particular set of parameters. But you certainly don't need to stick to them. There are many guitarists like David Wallimann who can play rhythmically outside these rules and it sounds particularly cool - like playing notes that are not in the key! One note my guitar teacher keeps emphasizing is the flatted b6 it's not in the key but the emotion it coveys is very powerful and if you want that emotion then you are "breaking" the rules. You just have to introduce the note in a way that doesn't sound jarring and you can do it that with any note. Learning the basic chords of a key and the major scale is quite easy - you just need someone to show you how easy it is.
@williamlamb43

If you want to learn the theory, I suggest that you check out Steve Stine's videos. Learn as much as you can from every available source that you can find. I like Jason and Steve because their teaching styles are simple and easier to absorb.
