Manzanillo is Mexico's biggest shipping port on the Pacific side. So the beach experience involves a lot of huge shipping containers and oil tankers in the distance and the water isn't going to be as pristine. That's the main reasons that it doesn't attract as many foreign visitors as other beach cities. On the plus side, you can find better real estate deals here than places like Puerto Vallarta.

Vaccines are being rolled out in Mexico but it's going to take time. COVID deaths were being underreported for a long time and it's created a bit of a scandal recently. www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-56558059 Mexico is letting everyone enter because their economy is so dependent on tourism and the president (AMLO) is a populist who has repeatedly tried to downplay the impact of the virus - similar to Trump and Bolsonaro. Personally, I would get vaccinated before going there and I would wear a mask. Many Mexicans are grumbling about tourists going around without masks and not social distancing but you're not going to pick up on that if you don't speak the language and get to know people.

Nice condo tours. The beachfront is nice for sure, the 300 smackers a month would be the the bad apple spoiling the bunch though. I think the short 3 block walk and $50 a month fees could be more appetizing and the asking price says a lot. It Is one thing to dole out around 275 thou but the high fees are a bigger problem, at least in my mind. Cheers🍻🇨🇦🇺🇸🥂👍

Thank you Jerry & Lori for showing the property, however, that particular property is WAY OVER PRICED even on the beach. I would have to put another $50K to bring it up to par. Also, the summers are hot, so you can't enjoy it all year. The property needs a lot of work, and it's a bit too small. They have property completely new, high end appliances selling at that price in Puerto Villarta. Not beach front, but you can still see the water from those locations. Seems Mexico is getting over priced and greedy. You can't charge American prices when the roads, sidewalks, safety, and are not fully functional clean cities. I wonder if the homes near by are even nice. I am interested in buying in Mexico, but not for $285,000 cash for that. No way. I appreciate the videos, though. Good to use for comparison. 👍

@@vatochingon209 Hey, thanks! I appreciate the information.👍 I am planning to stay 3 months over the summer to know where I may want to live. Seems like Mexico is most compatible to what I'm looking for, and not too far from my home in America.

I know what you're saying and we agree with you but people are always asking me over and over again where can I get a piece of property at the beach for under $100,000 they don't seem to mind the heat and they're willing to put a little of their own labor into making it a comfortable home for them. So this is the person we make videos like this for. See this video this home would cost about $300,000 is that about what your budget is? This is a hard question to answer because it depends where you want to live do you wanna live at the beach or do you wanna live in Land do you wanna live in an Expat community or a Mexican neighborhood ? Realistically your rents would be between $650 a month to $1200 a month long-term 12 month lease.
