Hello there. Just wanted to thank you for this helpful video. I ordered my speedometer cable months ago but I was intimidated by the task so I postponed replacing it until today. It really wasn't that hard! I would have never guessed there was a screw behind the A/C panel...once I removed that I was basically done. Knowing what I know now, it would probably take me 30 minutes to do it all over again. Couldn't have done it without watching this video thou.... Happy 2023!

Thank you so much mate, very helpful video. I was installing a cup holder under the central vents as my hilux didn’t come fitted with them. Your video made it so much easier as part of the dash has to be removed to take out the blank & fit the holder. Much appreciated from a grateful Aussie viewer.

Great video, previous owner of my 4runner has had the dash out to fix the speedo and left the battery light disconnected resulting in no alternator charge. Saves me pulling out more than I need to!

Thank you so much for making these videos! It looks pretty identical to my 91 Toyota front end to my motorhome. Mine has the 6 cylinder 3VZE, but still very similar. I have to replace or repair the speedometer cable, so this is SUPER helpful. Plus I watched your great video on the speedometer cable. MUCH appreciated! Hope my fix goes smoothly.

Thanks! I have to replace the bulbs in my gauges. I've had my dash apart a hundred times, but never been back behind the cluster.

Same here. I need to figure out if it’s possible to replace those bulbs with some LEDs. The bulbs are way too dim for me. I guess I’m getting old :-) Or at least the bulbs are.

What about the bezel that attaches to the panel you pulled? My 1993 pickup the bezel is broken, does this have it? And can you pull all of it out, doing what you do? Another video had you removing the left and right sides, to get that panel you took out, and the bezel is hooked to it. Just wondering, if I had to remove all the other, or do what you did? Anyway thanks, and keep up the good work 😎

I think so. A lot of newer stuff will swap in. I take parts off of 4runners. But check before you buy. I'm trying to figure out if I can change my speed sensor cable, from manual, to electric.
