This video helped me so much! Car is now running and idling perfectly! I messed up the timing when I installed a new Distributor, and but it dies instantly, so first I fixed the timing, and then checked the TPS, and wouldn't you know it the damn thing wasn't reading anything, 0.00 volts. Ordered a new one, did what you recommended in the video, got it to proper voltage, and now it's car is running and idling great! Thanks boss!

Does this also apply to an 85 4-cylinder 2.4L? And what book do you get these code tests in? My Chilton/Haynes does not have this.

It should be the same on your 85. It still uses a three wire 5v reference voltage signal. And I have a Fiero oem shop manual so it's a complete factory manual.

Adjust the position of the sensor to get design voltage range at idle.
