1989 Jeep Cherokee Pioneer 4.0L I6 AW4 NP231 Renix
(Update) After a year and a half the ford style socket fell apart just like the old one. I switched to the GM style Dorman #85830 socket and it is working much better.
I am sick and tired of having nonfunctional blinkers so I think it's about high time I finally fix them. The problem started one night when the left front blinker decided it wasn't getting paid enough and decided to jump ship. The left turn light was stuck on the dash when the headlights were on even though the actual turn signals were still off. When you flick the turn stalk to the left, it also didn't blink but rather just stayed on. I found out later that my socket shorted out so I needed a new one.
The driver side front blinker started acting up when the previous owners splice job started coming undone. That just needed to be connected a little better.
