This is awesome! Where is the flooring from? I thought I had a house planned out but after watching this I might have to throw that plan in the garbage!

What are your thoughts about the hydraulic fluid in 40 below (Fahrenheit) air temp? Even -20F? Any concerns? Amsoil, maybe? Don't misunderstand my questions; this is fine but I'm considering a build myself. I've considered hydraulic also but I'm concerned. But, with extreme temps, I'm concerned about electric jacks also. I'm also concerned about a possible air suspension system. Things happen in cold air temps. A person doesn't have to try hard to get into a mess on Lake Winnipeg; it's -20F there just as another regular winter day, for several days. If the temp is -30F with a blizzard and water is filling in around the shack, that shack has to be moved and, preferably quickly. Water on the ice happens regularly on LOTW. Amsoil would be my first thought though. What do you think?

People have been running Hydraulic snow plows for decades, that said this is my first hydro setup, my pump and reservoir are in a heated area of my shack. I worry more about blowing a line or an o-ring more so than the fluid itself. As for electric jacks I've had them for 8 year and I really like them. The biggest thing i've found when really cold is the grease gets hard and slows them down, also lack of regular maintenance (and rust) will cause issues over time. I've never considered air suspension as I believe there have been enough people who have tried and not one brand has brought them to market .

@@jacobvealetzek5973 It was $650 the price always fluctuates some but its pretty reasonable IMO for a coating that will outlast me.

If temps drop to -10 or more routinely, almost everybody i know uses automatic transmission fluid and not hydro fluid. We swap a ton of those at my work in stacy mn. All mac inc. We are a full service trailer and wheelhouse shop
