Managing money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look. My wife and I are retiring this year with over $7,000,000 in tax deferred investments. up until 3 years ago we were 100% in the S&P. During bear markets we had a perfect plan. We got an investment manager in our corner and didn’t look at our portfolio for nearly a year.

Trading is difficult. It’s a mental game more than it is your skillset. Once you crack day trading, it then becomes easy. But your emotions still fall into play. Once you have control of your emotions and STICK TO YOUR PLAN, only then you will get the results. But some losses always come.

Focusing on R multiple has significantly improved my trading. Looking at wins and lossess from a standpoint of how much I lost versus How much I was anticipating to gain is truly amazing. For example if I made $100 on a trade but I was risking $50 is a profitable system. New traders dont build or focus on risk management systems and look for holy grail technical systems. I highly suggest any new trader reading this to build a risk management system in congruent with your technical system.

Yes you are correct if you have lot of money put on a trade your returns will be bigger as compared to one that has 1000 dollars put to trade in absolute terms. But at the same time you should be aware that your losses will also be bigger if your trade goes against you. Hence first as each individual, know how much money if you loose on a trade is comfortable with you and then position your quantity size accordingly.

Global stocks headed for their biggest weekly decline in more than three months. European shares fluctuated, with a record 36% drop in Siemens Energy AG’s shares after a profit warning dragging on the broader market. US index futures fell. According to chief economist at UBS Global Wealth Management “Financial markets have had one of those switches in the narrative that happen occasionally, and are starting to worry about higher interest rates driving recessions,” I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $300k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of the market?

I’m compiling and picking stocks that I’d love to hold on to for a few years before retirement, do you think these stocks would do better over the years? I’d love to retire with at least $2million savings. Now you gotta rely on a pretty good diversification if you must stay green. Currently up 31% and being cautious. Still better deal than letting it sit in savings or checking earning near 5% interest

I have a myth you should cover: newer traders only thinking the market functions in 1 direction, bullish. They actually think something is wrong with the market and often choose not to trade if things aren't going north. Some traders even trade against the market on a super red day, waiting all day for a demand bounce because they're so biased thinking the market should only move in 1 direction. Some of these bad habits, in my opinion, started in 2020 when you had a lot of newer traders in the market from the pandemic. That and the whole meme craze.... Much respect to what you do.

No man. I have been trading for the past 18 years and I can tell you that opportunity exist each day. If you going to risk a min of 2% per trade and only take 1 trade per week it amounts to 52 trades per year which half you lose thats 26 winning trades per year. The math just does not add up. You need to have a higher trade frequency with relative low risk per trade. I take 2 trades per day @3r depending on structure.. risk 1.2% per trade and have a wr of 60% about. I have about 400 winning trades per year which makes it worth wile. Sitting your hand is bad advice, rather learn and develop concepts which will allow you to take more opportunities.
