Have you tried the Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush? I hated detangling too but that brush made the process SOO much easier for me.

I have Bee Girl in my hair now. I use Kinky Curly leave in and then BG in my WNG. My gray hair is very resistant and wiry. The BG dried hard and strong! Crush City but I wear a short (not TWA) abd the form/shape is great. On Day 4 and thi us the best my hair has been in a while. Going to try BG with Curly Magic next wash day. Thanks!

Did BG and KC leave in flake on your hair? I was going to use the KC system and glaze a little BG on top as an anti-humectant, but the BG and the KC leave in curdled when mixed together so I was afraid to continue.

This summer I really concentrated on my technique which successfully got me through the summer. I really concentrated in working the products- UFD, ICH and BG on every strand. My drying time was from 45-60 minutes and my WNG lasted for 7 days! I was very happy because it hasn’t been a year since following BGC. I appreciate your hacks because I was a product junkie I need to use my surplus! Thanks for all your suggestions and hacks. Most of all, thank you for being one of the people who introduced me to see some curls! 😊

I’m in the middle of watching your video. Can’t wait to hear all you have to say. Summers for me I find harder for wash n gos because I can’t always use my same styling techniques with confidence. I like using one gel but in the summer sometimes I might have to do two if I really want my hair to last.

I feel you...more than one gel is tough for drying time and humidity. But two gels give it more control and longevity...Thank you for watching

You just gave me some ideas on how to use up my MopTop, Curl Maker, Treluxe serum and the Be Curl. The humidity was disrespectful in Chicago. I had to return to ICH for my hold and then Trepadora did a live saying that PS + BG helped to combat the high humidity. That cocktail was the best anti-humectant combo.

Thank you for sharing ❤️ I may revisit PS + BG together as toppers. I know when my hair was dehydrated both of them over curly magic never dried

Minneapolis MN here… I totally love this video….I agree I had to switch up products during the summer because of humidity etc. this summer has been so unpredictable when it come to weather. My hair was hard to handle so switching products was a must. I didn’t have to a total elimination but a few products I had to change and it worked for me. Now winter is here and I can go back to products I used prior. The natural hair journey is different for everyone and it takes time and patience. Also find a stylist because the journey will be less difficult. Thanks for sharing God Bless and much success 👍🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾

Not a fan of WnG however I can see myself doing twist outs, braids outs. I big chopped last week and did twists on my hair wet hair with mousse but but by my hair dries fast, should I keep rewetting it and reapplyting the mousse ?

Vegas girl here and this summer was brutal! But I have noticed that the Innersense I Create Hold was the only gel that held up with this Vegas extreme dry heat 🔥 I had to put down my Mousse Def and other gels because nothing else worked

I feel you about going back to the office messing up your wash routine. The same thing happened to me this summer. And wearing my hair out more for work also equaled more split ends and tangles. And I've just recently decided to start incorporating serums into my routine. Btw, love your videos. You're one of the few people I can listen to talk about hair for a long time. I also find your voice soothing.

I'm a dry-climate West coast girl. Generally, I restyle every 4-5days and I can do a one-product WnG. My hair accepts moisture easily and since UFD pulls moisture from the air that was basically all I needed in the summer. If we had a somewhat humid couple of days I would either use a pump or two of ICH on top or mix UFD with Obia Naturals Custard.

I still haven't found the Bee Girl line on the ground. ICH let me down after moving from northern Alabama to Florida. I replaced it with Obia Naturals custard as a topper. I only have to use a little. I'm going to finish the remainder of my ICH in the cooler months, but will not be repurchasing. Mousse Def is my favorite wash and go product during the cooler months. No way would a mousse work on my hair before the detox. I also love the Treluxe products. The leave in and reflex serum are my favorites.

Thanks for a great video, I live in AZ and it does get humid here for a few months. I find cocktailing my gels takes forever to dry even here ,so I have been doing just 1 gel that's it. Have you heard of nurture gel OMG love it there is a slight learning curve because it loves sopping wet hair, I watched the owner she owns the salon Hydra bar and her videos helped a lot Holy Grail for me
