Maybe not seen on stage, but I can confirm, I saw a lot of Blackstar HT-5R's backstage during the Stadium Tour with Motley Crue, Def Leppard and Poison, being used as practice, warm up and jamming amps.

Hi Dagan I love your videos. Your playing is always epic and perfectly demonstrates whatever guitar you're showcasing. I've always been interested in what amps you're going through which isn't always obvious so this video is really great at showing how you get certain tones. Not that i would ever critique what you do but a quick rig rundown from the outset might help us mere mortals understand what is going on post-pickup. Hope that makes sense. Look fwd to more vids and next time I'm in town will def pop in

Most pll never use the dirt channel on their amp anyway. I don't- I'm so into pedals every amp I buy is just a pedal platform really. Which makes you shop for amps in a really different way. I used to play metal- and when I did, no pedals- well, I had a tube screamer, of course- but that's it. That's all you needed- turn the mids down, kick in the screamer- chug, chug, chug- all night. Then- new metal came about- much more complex- now you need a full board- O.D., Dist, compression, reverbs, delays, you name it. Tool even incorporates a talk box at times. Speaking of which- the one thing that stopped every guy I know, me included, from using talk box was the requirement of sticking a nasty tube in your mouth- which inevitably caused slobber. I don't care how super cool you are- if there's big string of slobber running from your face to the talk box tube when you pop it out of your mouth- fans are not going to remember the awesome solo you just did- they're gonna remember that huge wad of stringy slobber- pictures are going up online- you're screwed. Well- the Boss VO-1 Vo-coder has you covered- it uses a regular mic, no tube- to produce the same talk box effect. Plus, there's a "choir mode" that doesn't require a mic at all- it just adds vocal harmonies to whatever you play- and two talk box modes, classic, and modern which is more detailed and makes the guitar mimic your voice much more closely than the classic mode. It can sound just like the old MXR talk box though- without the danger of slobbering on stage in front of all your adoring fans- all five or 6 of them. Hey- just takes one person with a smart phone and you're on KZitem the next day- slobber and all. Don't risk it man, it's not worth it.

I bought a wolf WLP I was wondering what you think about it I know I love this fucking guitar it’s so great it’s the weight of a 58- 59 Gibson Les Paul this damn thing is so heavy you need a crane just put around your neck. But seriously what’s your take on the Wolf WLP it’s only made in Los Angeles California and it comes with everything you’d expect on a Gibson Les Paul only it’s not. Hope that went through OK my voice recognition system sucks.Check it out and hit me back on that. Thanks brother.

Dagan did great but that hunk of wood he’s playing needs to go. He seriously seemed to have trouble with it the whole way through. I definitely see some amps that I’m interested in but I also don’t think I’ll be getting that Epiphone. Looked incredibly hard to play. It helped me understand why I like what I do and certain guitars just don’t stick around, no matter how good the idea. I have Parkinson’s and have absolutely no business getting guitars that are in any way uncomfortable or difficult to play. Funny enough, I play blues with my Jackson Kelly. 😂 The humbuckers sound amazing and it’s comfortable…what else can I ask for. But watching this video made me realize why certain guitars were gone in a couple months. I keep buying semi hollow bodies, then selling them. It doesn’t make sense. Maybe someday I’ll stop the insanity. 😂

I find these videos frustratingly dishonest. These are clearly NOT the best combos of 2022, are they? This video would be honest if it were called "The best combos of 2022 THAT WE NEED TO SELL MORE OF AT PMT!" Everyone knows the best combo of 2022 is the Dr Z Z-28 Mk2, which is nothing short of incredible. Or perhaps the Friedman Twin Sister combo! Why include the Tone Master version of the Fender offering, for example? Nobody would say that's better than the 'real' version of that amplifier.
