Regarding watches, there are a ton of watches around $50-60 range that you can wear as accessory. Most people don't care, let alone ask, what kind of watch you're wearing. It doesn't have to be expensive. I have 7 watches that I match to whatever I'm wearing. Casual to work.

@voskresenie-
4 ай бұрын
for any guys struggling to do this, it's almost certainly not just a matter of trying harder. People slouch for a reason, and that reason isn't just lack of 'core strength' or whatever. lack of strength is a symptom that makes it harder to fix, but not the cause - the body develops the strength to do the things it does regularly, and no toddler has bad posture. Men, particularly tall men, have bad posture because the world is too small for them. You can't fix every chair or counter in the world, and you can't make every short person where platforms so you can look directly at them while maintaining good posture, but you can improve the ergonomics of your desk and chairs at home to naturally incline yourself towards good posture, which will naturally increase strength with little effort and allow you to maintain good posture during the shorter periods where you are forced to use things that are too small for you. Big ones are increasing the height of your screen to eye level, laptop stand + keyboard if necessary, and _taller chairs_ - cannot overstate the chair one, which is so often overlooked. if your knees are lower than your hips while sitting, it's much more difficult to have bad posture. In terms of behavior, learn to look down with your eyes rather than your head. It's maybe unnatural when talking to people, but for most things it works. And stop looking at your phone - almost entirely, if possible. That has the added advantage of improving everything else about your life, too.

Just stumbled across your channel and this was my first video. I live in a very rural area of western Colorado and honestly most men here are completely opposite of every point you made. Which brings me to my next point. My wife typically says to me when we’re going to run errands or do some light shopping. She often asks or comments that why am I dressing up or looking nice. It makes me feel good she notices and I always tell her because I want to look good for her. I don’t want people to see me as a representation of her and I’m looking like a bum. I appreciate and most often follow those same elements to looking nice. Fit is a little harder for me as I’m 6’4” and 265 with a dad bod. Clothing that fits proper is a challenge when most places carrying 3x are still too short in the sleeves and overall garment length. Most 3x garments are cut short and wide. No help. Anyways, good video👍🏻. On to the next with a sub!

I’ve always been taught that a watch is one of the most important accessory for a gentleman. My father was born in a country where a watch was considered a sign of wealth because not everyone could afford one. Being military inclined, a watch is also an invaluable tool for navigation (non digital) and for of telling time, but the management of time itself. It’s hard to pass it’s importance to my sons nowadays, but I’m persistent about the relevance of a watch. I don’t care for jewelry and my wife understands me well as my watch and folding knives are the most important tools that accompany me when we are out and about albeit that some of my knives are more expensive than some pieces of jewelry. I suppose that I could consider some of my knives are jewelry and it definitely gives me a sharper image.

Regarding hand care: It took me many years to realize that hand moisturizer actually diminishes the occurrence of hang nails; Many guys may be like me in not liking the greasy feel of hand moisturizer on the palm side of their hand, so I learned to apply a large dab to the BACKSIDE of one hand, then rub the backsides of both hands together ...then outward toward the fingernails where the moisturizer can be effective. It works like a charm -- especially during dry seasons -- and your palms won't end up slick. (Then, if you ever do find yourself with a hang nail, remember to CLIP that loose skin rather than pull at it).

On a different note, one thing I find irritating is the comments that get a lot of interaction under your videos in which they basically say (and I'm paraphrasing here), "Everything you just said doesn't matter if you aren't physically attractive." Like duh, but you literally have other videos on your channel that cover how to improve your hygiene, grooming, and health. Not to mention those people can find numerous videos on those topics on other channels too, or even sources like Reddit, which is where I have gotten lots of help. I genuinely feel anybody can be a 7/10 at the least if they take care of their body (eat, sleep, hygiene) and workout. You also have your channel dedicated to all aspects of dating, so being physically attractive is one thing, but once you have that "covered", you can learn so much more to improve your dating experience from your videos. To me those comments come across so insecure and also disingenuous to you and what you are trying to say. It makes it sound like they are projecting all the blame to the women when in reality both sides need to do their part. I will admit, I sometimes still feel like an incel despite having a girlfriend, probably because I feel that my 20s were a waste, didn't have a serious relationship until the beginning of my 30s. It causes me to envy and resent couples out there younger than me, people who got to experience having a serious long-term relationship before I did and yes I know people will always say comparison is the thief of joy or don't compare yourself to others. But I believe it's always has been and always will be part of the human psyche, been that way since the beginning of time to feel upset and depressed when you feel you are not part of the norm. Because of that I feel like a forever permanent incel for all time, even when I did manage to get a girlfriend. So yeah even while I did have a girlfriend, I still felt like an incel. I don't see myself ever getting over this, it will be a pain and wound for the rest of my life. And I'm not afraid to admit that there have been times over the years I have hated being born male, because I know I'm not the only guy in the world that has this mindset, that men have to do everything in dating and relationships and seduction. Yes I know tons of people say what's the point of being angry and depressed over what didn't happen in the past or not? Well I'm entitled and I have a right to my mindset, I believe it's always been part of human nature or just the human psyche to always be sad and depressed or angry and resentful over good things that they wish happened to them in the past but didn't. I know I'm not afraid to admit I have had these thoughts, and I'm sure other guys have thought this way, we feel that if we had been born a woman, we would not have been single that long. Probably because women just have to exist and they are guaranteed attention and options from Men, that requires no skill or no social dynamics, no game or no seduction. One person I remember I heard said that women need game as well which I thought was the stupidest thing I ever heard. So ya I still feel like an incel for all time despite managing to get a girlfriend eventually, and I still get irritated and annoyed whenever people and society say that men have it better than women do in the human mating game. I get annoyed when people say go see a therapist because it's not like a therapist can reset my life or have me start my life all over again. I spoke in a few other guys who feel the same way in regards to being forever angry and upset, sad, over never having had a girlfriend until later than normal, until late in life. Probably because guys and men to learn and know all of these skills, all of these social behaviors, talk and behave a certain way, act a certain way, walk a certain way or have a certain lifestyle, have a certain body, certain income, and more than that which I either don't know or forgot. Women are pretty much basically all set for just being born and just existing. Because being pretty and beautiful is not a skill and it doesn't require any learning, it's not a behavior that takes training

Great video Courtenay. Wanted to add one item to your excellent list: behave like you are an 'expensive' person. Please and thank you. Holding a door open for a woman. Treating those around you with respect. If you combine a well fitting suit, a clean and moisturized face, a good haircut, quality and polished shoes, and you smell great (easy on the trigger) AND when you walk around town and are polite and have manners - that adds to image you project as an 'expensive' person. I say this, only because I see a lot of guys that buy expensive clothes, get a nice haircut, nice shoes, expensive accessories (and I know that your message in this video is that you don't have to spend a ton to look expensive) and then this 'well put together person'....speaks...and behaves....and all the effort to look the part is dilluted with poor manners, treating people poorly, swearing, etc.

If you keep your hair short, invest in a trimmer to cut your hair. I've been using one for years, haven't been to a hair stylist, and always get complimented on my hair. It's easy to learn; and you'll look like a man instead of a man-child. I think that's the biggest thing. Look mature. Look like someone who takes the time to get their shit together, and cares about looking decent. Remember, it's not just for yourself; it's for those around you.

I want to order the facial skin care package, but most cleansers and moisturizers that I use gives me a burning sensation that last for hours and then leads to swelling. How well is this on sensitive skin? I have used many different skin sensitive products but all fail. The only thing that I use is my family's homemade goat milk soap that we make on our hobby farm.

I think the Snow White and the Seven style full beards and man buns and all over body tattoos gives an impression of “Dirtyness” - especially when they work at a bank or some other professional type of job. Like I’m supposed to trust a man that looks like his every day uniform is sweat pants and a hoodie? Get a normal haircut and a nicely trimmed beard… and don’t waste your money on all over body tattoos. That goes for the women too -- Large all over body tattoos make you look”Dirty.” Develope your own sense of style that revolves around elegant dresses, blouses and skirts and heels. Your shoes should at least be at the quality level of $175.00 retail. A man can also spot cheap shoes on a woman. If you’re a brunette with brown eyes …. Resist the temptation to dye your hair blonde or red, and wear contact lenses to make your eyes blue or green … Revel in your natural beauty! Stay away from sweats and hoodies, t-shirts and jeans and baseball caps and athletic shoes … and Lullulemon and bicycle shorts … and sports team jerseys … and boy cut hair styles..

All true. These days there are so many accessible options, that whatever look you want you can achieve with ease. The thing is so few people, especially men, either never learned or just don't care or don't understand the value of presentation. Wear whatever you like, be yourself, but be conscious of it, own it, and do it on purpose.

I agree with the nine points. I would add that many guys don't realize the importance of tending to their physique and waistline. And many lack in manners when together with a woman. Opening the door of a car for her, pulling her chair at a restaurant, helping her with her coat, getting up when she enters where you're at ... are just a few simple examples of the difference between being ordinary and being distinguished. Finally ... guys must understand that the challenge is not how well you look at 25. Like it or not ... there is life beyond that age. The challenge is how you look at 40, 50, 60 ... .

good advice from a woman's perspective, but not for getting women and having a relationship with. rather, an additional information that can be useful for just being a good man. i have lived my life as a single man for 30+ years now and i have adapted from it. i have no problems and issues at all anymore. it made me realized that i am capable to live long to what nature's worst can throw at me. it did knocked me down years ago, but rather than hating at it, i decided to challenged it by myself. no one's gonna help you when you, you're the only one who can stand up and heal those wounds. and why i prefer to single and alone? it's the same as with the question: why are you getting married to a divorce cultured society? since you're in that society, you should probably be single just to be surely safe. well, that's just me, not going to a landmine that even has the signs telling about the mines. lol.

What if I don't want to _look_ expensive? As in, I am not, and as such - why would I project a false misleading image of myself? Seems terribly counterproductive in finding a person of my own social class, who would want to be with me for who I am, and not for whom I pretend to look like.

All great points. I always wear very nice stylish Seiko and Invicta watches. I actually own a collection of very nice watches and I wear button-down shirts or a T-shirt with a button-down over it. I have very thick black hair and I wear it longer not womanish long☝️ but a bit like the pompadour haircut. I keep my goatee well-groomed and I wear nice solid hiking boots and nice hiking/walking boot-like shoes. I am a very well-put-together man and I'm 40 and have grey at my temples and in my goatee. I've some grey in my eyebrows too. Lol 😂😂😂 people dye their hair at my age but I don't mind my gray hair. To me, it looks destinquched. And I don't look my age. Women think I'm in my mid-20s and think I dye my hair Grey at my temples and my brow hairline and in my goatee. I appreciate your videos and insight into how men need to look and be well-kept and groomed. Men these days younger than me just throw on shorts and a T-shirt, messy and dirty. Hair, flip flops, and use juveniles horrible-smelling axe body spray🤮🤮🤮. That's why most of the male population in the world especially in the us need your videos bcz men are gone. Guys are just beer belly smelly bloaks or tattooed emos. Gone are the days of being an actual man instead of a boy. I come from an old-school native American and Mexican family too. My father taught my brothers and me to Have dignity honor and self-respect. And to dress well and my grandfather was a Southern gentleman and dressed in suits always wore a watch, and combed his hair back very stylish. My dad and grandpa were both masculine men and while today masculinity is often mistaken for misogyny being masculine, working out, smelling good, bathing, dressing well, wearing a nice watch, etc are now a lost art. I'm proud my adopted sons dress as well as they can. But are just young nerds and Gen Z and younger millennials are often dressed in board shorts, flip flops with socks, and wear a dumb hoody sweater and a kiddy Star Wars or other movie logo t-shirt. Imo that's only for tweens, as a teenager you need actual clothes and need to wear nice shoes or boots depending on the weather, you've got a good knowledge of fashion and how some men need to up the ante and become a man rather than a boy.
