Dude you can totally tell how jacked you are when talking about shoes and leather, I love it!! Most people just don't share the passion in craftsmanship like us, I have my wife and kids smell my horween when I break them out the 9 year old loves the smell, the wife and 6 year old not so much and always just call us weird, keep these vids up with passion my man, and keep the genuineness up. Thanks for the education.

I've worn the shell cordovan crown Northampton harlestone sneakers for 2 summers now. The lactae havea sole is very comfortable and does not show much wear. The only thing I don't like about it is the texture on the sidewall of the outsole collects dust and dirt very quickly and is not very easy to clean

I know you've worked with both so you probably don't want to step on any toes but curious how you rank the two premium British sneaker makers? My impression is Goral makes slightly better shoes than Crown's standard line for about the same price and Crown's premium, handgrade shoes are way better than Goral's but are two to three times the price. Obviously there are also subjective elements of style etc but talking purely about build and material quality.

I had my eyes on Crown Northampton from another channel, who endorsed Common Projects, so I waited for a while for you to cut one in half since you had already proved the internet wrong once. I waited a while but finally bought a pair of their off-white veg tan and the arch support is so unexpected! Those soles are super soft (so nice). First time I put them on I wore them on carpet and that soft sole and carpet combo made it feel so squishy! They even threw in some saphir renovateur because I used your promo code. Next time I need sneakers I'll definitely check out Crown Northampton again!

Being a sneakerhead, it boggles my mind that there are those out there willing to part with thousands of dollars for some Travis Scott or Off-White collab Jordans with absolute rubbish materials. I would gladly pay the retail price for a pair of these beauty.
@flabiger
11 ай бұрын
Yeah, I always thought that was strange. Lots of sneakers are artificially high-priced and are made with easily sourced material in factories. Not sure what justifies the price on those other than that everyone else wants them and the companies have purposely made a "limited" run to inflate the price. Whereas Crown Northampton's are using materials that are not easily sourced (horse butt cheeks are not readily available) and are hand making shoes (which is much slower). You can argue about whether someone should pay a $1000 for a shoe. But if you are, you might as well get a shoe where the price reflects the material and labor.

After the original review I actually went to the factory (I live in Northampton, UK) and met Chris. They made me a pair of what at the time were unique to me trainers. Their Upton style (which is also whole cut) in cloud Kudu suede. They are amazing! I love them so much. Crown Northampton (and Chris in particular) are awesome!

Are the other hand stitched Crown Northampton sneakers made the same way with the same high quality materials inside the sneakers or only the Cordovan leather ones that come with such a high quality build?
