My father just died and I'm trying to convince my Mom to move back to Japan where she was born. She lives in San Diego alone spending almost 7k a month just to live! She could easily sell the house for $1m+ and retire in Japan. Gonna show her some of your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah.....I have a relative spending about the same just to live in Canada. It is rough out there.

Nice property. I am not a fan of Japanese suburb living but it is a nice house.

If you are going to sell the dream of living in Japan at least also mention how difficult it can be for many who feel overworked and perpetually broke due to low wages. Great if you’ve got your own business that you can run anywhere. I like that the featured property clean and cheap and that you aren’t spending money on someone’s bad taste but damn, those fixtures are pretty bare bones.

I'm not going to JP but I think considering average wage in US or wealthier EU countries if you pay rent for 5 years you burned that money anyways... 100k with today's RE is feasible

For young people in the North American marketplace, there's no need to put yourself in front of the freight train start to plan to escape

@@TREMVan I'm not from the US, but I think this account caters to US/CA users. They have a huge price in the RE market expecially CA. I would never live in CA to be honest, cost of living has become absurd.

@@dimmacommunication where are you from? The channel ends up presenting well to the American market, but there's all kinds of people here in Japan and there has been four decades...

@@TREMVan Italy, the RE market price is comparable to Japan 😁 Go check graphs about wage vs RE prices, Japan and Italy are similar. Problem is for Canada for example, totally unberable.

@@dimmacommunication I have actually seen that. And then in Italy it's worth buying because you're not putting yourself in front of a financial freight train. In North America you're just sending your money to the landlord who's then just sending it to the bank. You have one life and how about two decades to get established and you cannot give your labor rates all to the banking system. If the game is rigged, you have to escape

I had a friend who rented an apartment connected to a love hotel….he had to move out as he said the weird noises coming thru the open windows was very distracting. 😂
