This lock would just have a "LPL3" rating (LockPickingLawyer needed 3 seconds to open without key) and good locks would have at least a "LPL100" (100 seconds) rating. You have to say though that for a normal person in the daily life this does not apply bcause like 99.99% of criminals don‘t have all the tools to open every lock. Ae are mostly talking about people using them on bicicles and other people trying to steal the bikes. Nevertheless the company should be aware of the problem and not send more locks with the same

Good on Viro for responding to the criticism, but you better be darn sure of your product if you plan to send locks to LPL!

I mean, after that first video, one would think that Viro would actually look into the issue to resolve it. Instead, they used the "bad batch" excuse and made themselves look like even bigger fools. This is what overconfidence can do a company. Now they just come across as incompetent. It took him longer to get it out of the packaging than to open it 😂

RevMarket I had heard that KZitem is wanting longer videos (probably because more time is then spent on the platform and more advertising opportunities). And I’m ok with some longer content, but I prefer short and too the point vs rambling. I never watch live streams because 99.99% of people will ramble. Editing is a plus.

I think the varying resistance from one lock to another simply comes from the natural manufacturing variations in diameter for both the hole and cylinder. Cylinders and main bodies are built separately and randomly associated at the final stage. Big cylinder in tight hole = high friction and resistance. Small cylinder in wide hole = free rotation. QC only rejects assemblies that fall off on their own and sends everything else to the stores. (no pun intended, or maybe just a small one) This lock suffers from one of the most basic design flaws ever: you should never ever expect a round piece in a round hole to offer any kind of resistance to rotation. If you need rotational resistance you must either change the shape or add a locking pin.
