The powerful often do go insane. Contrary to the naive public school level civics taught to most people, there still exists and is a very sharp divide between the ruling class and the subjects they rule over. This isn't unique to the US, but the wealth of the country has resulted in one of the most powerful governments to ever exist so its no surprise to the wise that its rulers appear so insane.

If you want to understand international relations today, it’s very simple. If you are allied with USA-NATO, you can do anything, and it will be alright, because it will be “for freedom, democracy and justice”. Example: genocide, stealing money, using the police to brutalize civilian population, canceling elections, overthrowing elected governments and so on”. But if you are not allied with USA-NATO, then you are ruined. Whatever you do, literally anything, is criminal, authoritarian and unfair. If you have elections, they are “rigged”. If you don’t have them, it’s “dictatorship”. If you protect your countries security, you are a terrorist imperialist. If you care about your people and don’t meddle in other countries’s businesses , together with USA-NATO, then you are a dictator’s puppet.

The US constantly drastically underestimates the stability of foreign government and how incredibly difficult it is to unseat ANY modern government, even if it is catastrophically incompetent and nigh universally hated, which is of course the polar opposite of what Putin and his government are. The difference to the US though is the existence of this vast Deep State - Shadow Government complex that renders the actual administration irrelevant and freely exchangeable. While there are rudiments of such structures in SOME other countries, especially in the collective west, no country in the world has a deep state comparable to the US. And de facto the US Deep State is really the shadow government of the entire collective west, with a lot of local branches. All this is of course widely known and institutions like the media are of course fully loyal to that completely unaccountable permanent shadow regime, even while pretending it doesn't exist. This regime can never be voted out and there is no obvious way it could be overthrown even in any kind of conventional coup. Even if people were to take up arms, what should they do when they don't even know who is actually in charge and where to find them? There is good reason for them to feel utterly invulnerable and untouchable. They are completely confident that they will always be able to direct any serious resistance towards puppets, fall guys, etc. This actually makes the US the least democratic nation on earth, far less so than China or even Iran or North Korea. In those country you get what's in the brochure, the people in charge according to the constitution are actually in charge. Russia too is of course infinitely more democratic than the US. Political decisions are made out in the open by the people and in the institutions that are legitimated both by elections and the constitution of the Russian Federation. It MATTERS who is President of Russia. It doesn't matter one bit who is President of the United States. Of course, when the US talks about "democracy" that's exactly what it means: Totalitarian control by a vast, secretive, fascist shadow bureaucracy and a hyperclass of private billionaire oligarchs. Which is the system they try to force on all of humanity by hook or crook, either that or extinction. Of course it IS possible to get rid of them either by cleansing the continental US with nuclear fire or via a full blown revolution, one that truly takes apart and dissolves all institutions, liquidates the entire ruling class, confiscates every cent owned by every billionaire, a revolution that tears down all of government and the economy, enacts the death penalty for all the mega corporate citizens, rebuilds the entire country from scratch ans the bottom up, with an entirely new constitution accounting for all the countless blind spots of the old one, leaves NO stone unturned. Absolutely nothing else will ever suffice.

Note these facts: Feb 2024, U.S. public debt was $34.47 trillion dollars (almost $2 trillion dollars more than July 2023). U.S.public debt is increasing at a very fast clip in recent months, increasing at about $1 trillion dollars - every 100 days. Total U.S.revenues past year: $4.4 trillion dollars/ Total spending: $6.1 trillion dollars. By 2034, the gross federal debt of the United States is projected to be $54.39 trillion dollars (2028 U.S. debt will reach its historic high of 106 percent of GDP, 200 percent of GDP by 2050, of our national debt is left unaddressed). Our national elite political class is addicted to defense (war) spending ($850 billion this year) and maintaining Empire - with over 800 military bases overseas and giving $95 billion dollars to Israel, Ukraine and an island right of the coast off China (which U.S. recognizes ,as part of historic China). Our ‘leaders’ are clueless and leading us all towards an ‘economic abyss’ - how completely delusional and disgraceful for the American people.

How has peaceful demonstration ever improved the lives and conditions of Palestinians? When they have tried that approach as they did in 2018 it resulted in hundreds of non violent protesters shot dead and many more maimed. The only solution the Palestinians have with a rogue state out of control that inflicts violence and misery on those the occupy is violence as their only alternative as Oct 7th has put their cause in the spotlight whereas ineffectual non violent protest has been an abysmal failure.

Its virtue and its reward is within its pursuit and being seen by one's living example. Beware of PR slogan pushing. At the least they project the promoter inauthentic. 12.30 .... The logic is simple Alex: a couple of hundred years ago, they coined it "Manifest Destiny", only the interests behind promoting this did not mean East coast to West; they meant East coast and all the long way round back to the East: destroying any thing and any one that stands before the completion of the hoop. That is where we are now: if you do not believe me, then go ask the Chipawa; the Lakota; or look up the any of the hundreds of peoples exterminated by the Manifest Destiniers: That was phase one. Phase two was the transfer of the British Empire from the British establishment; to themselves. We are now in phase three. If the Russians and Chinese to not stick together and break the trend; the hoop will be made whole. That is not my world.

From the view inside the US administrative bubble America are the indispensable nation. They are the US Empire and are not to be defeated. So when the US makes these demands on China and other countries, the US fully expects these countries to follow orders. This seems to be the nature of Empires - no reverse gears and an irrational belief in ones own invincibility.

Rational choice theory - expecting others to behave rationally like you do. This leads to disaster. Assume the other party is crazy until proven otherwise.

See “2023 National Security Scorecard” by research firm Govini. US DoD depends heavily on Chinese manufacturing. So, if US wants to play the economic war, not only will the Walmarts, Amazon and Dollar stores suffer dearly but so will the MIC.

Isn't the US steadily moving manufacturing out of China? I'm fairly confident that won't be the case for much longer.

@@peekaboo1575 Sure, maybe, eventually, or not. You think you can just move and build the entire supply chain and required infrastructure elsewhere in a few years? Get real. Do you know that many factories in Vietnam, Indian and Mexico, etc, are actually owned by Chinese and are sourcing parts from China?

You got it a bit wrong about the Seuz Crisis 1956, the French, British beat Egypt with ease, but the US because they were not informed about the attack, stopped all grants and funding for French & Britain, so we had to pull out...

I think there was not a german emperor back in 1870, but a king of prussia. The german empire was created in january 1871.
