Lovely tractor for someone. Used one just like it on a baler for a good few years the clutch would kill your leg though had all new bits in and it was still shocking heavy! A bit of belt dresser should stop the fan belt for a while. Also it wouldn't be a deere if things didn't squeak and rattle😂😂

You'd have more interest in it if it was a 6910, it would be a great tractor for someone with a loader on it . The breaks are easy to do on them I can't understand why lads neglect them the 00's and 10's will go forever. John Deere haven't made a decent tractor since

@@mrcvx get the stickers and the magic spanner out that's the only difference between a 66 and a 69. It's hard to know about the m's and r's some lads reckon they're great yokes and others reckon they're not great, from my own experience of them I don't like them they seem very underpowered compared to the older ones

@@jimconnolly3572 big differences between a 66 and 68 or 69. Much heavier backend in the larger tractors
@jimconnolly3572

@@johnnyflat2138 I looked it up there now different engine in the 6600 to the rest of them the 6610 has the same engine as the bigger ones and 300kg between the 66 and the 68 in both the 10 and the 00. The 68 is one inch longer and the same height and width as the 66 so larger if you parked them side by side you'd barely notice the physical size difference. So ye I'd agree with you on them being heavier but they're bomb proof old things and you could provably get away turning a 6610 at 115hp up to 125/130 hp if the transmission and back end are in good order
