You can put your 808 through some chorus / flanger (then make sure the 808 is in mono) for some crazy change

True indeed, chorus effect also helps create those types of disruptions in the wave form. When you make 808s, which synth do you prefer to use?

@@NavieD I usually use sytrus, (you can really create any waveform you want with this synht) or 3xOsc sometimes

@@lucw5968 ahhh yeah, I like the UI in biohazard since it lets you experiment and layer and stuff natively in the plugin. I'm thinking of doing a video on different plugins and which are best for 808s

@@NavieD I don't think there a better synth for 808, you can make one from every synth that can create a sine wave the choice of the effect that you add after will make the difference

hey i wanted to say that this tutorial was really helpful. another video idea, something i need much help with, is using sub basses in beats. for example, in travis scott's song "goosebumps" the intro has this really grimy sub bass i want to recreate but i don't know how. i also need to know the basics like, should i put my sub basses in mono, what effects should i use on it, how should i mix it (biggest problem for me). if you could make a video on this it would be much appreciated. like always though, keep up the great work, your channel is gonna blow up soon, i already can tell based on the effort and high quality editing. keep up the good work!

Just took a listen, sounds like it could be a saw wave stacked with a sub bass underneath with some saturation/distortion on both... Definitely a good idea for a video though, how to make different types of basses for your beats and whatnot. And thank you again for your compliments 👌🏽 I'm just glad to be of service
