His release happened “ quickly” ?. Ridiculous. Stop saying that! he went in as a young man and is released as an old man. Justice has not been served.. face it. Thats how criminal Empires work. And they get away with it.

He doesn’t look tortured actually, well atleast he is out. ALEXI navalny what happened to him is lethal. He definitely did some deal, especially since his company is sitting on state secrets across the globe. It’s a business too, not just a political movement. Honestly thrilled he is released, but not fool to believe that he was tortured, his wife met him every Saturday. He had comfortable but confined life. He got justice finally, even if it’s through some deals…

Despite 5 years of hard incarceration and 7 years trapped in a small embassy, plenty if US fascists are crying about this. They wanted nothing other than the death penalty for him or life imprisonment in one of their cruel max security prisons. Glad that good prevailed for once, even with dramatic delay.

So slowly it's a miracle we got there. Thanks Peter and the band of "few good men" who kept the lights on.

Thumbs up to Equador’s Rafael Correa for granting him asylum at the embassy in London frustrating which would be his expedite extradition to US and consequent condemnation.

My father in Cuba used to tell me this Quote from Bertolt Brecht and tell me you should never, ever give up, the moment you do, those who put you in that situation will win: "There are men who struggle for a day and they are good. There are men who struggle for a year and they are better. There are men who struggle many years, and they are better still. But there are those who struggle all their lives: These are the indispensable ones." Bertolt Brecht If my father were alive he will say WOW for the Bravery of Julian Assange ! I think that, men like Assange, have no fear at all, I think he will double down in what he do !! AND HE SHOULD !! Western Media: Russia killing Civilians in Ukranie: "That is a Genocide, the whole worls should know it and condem it" US is killing civilans in Irak after they invade it to steal their oil: "Ohhh the Press should be quiet because exposing that will put US soldiers in harm's way" Talking about having NO HONOR AND definition of hypocrite !!

@@chuletaization Well, when you have a country so powerful like the US run by Oligarchs, Military Industrial Complex, Pharma, IT, Finance (Wall Street), etc and have a core policy like this one: "America has no permanent friends or enemies, only interests" Henry Kissinger You have to expect ANYTHING !! And if you have a Natural Resource or something valuable that the US Oligarchs wants, well, you will find yourself moving from "Friend" category to Enemy of the US category in a heartbeat !! Sorry if offended anyone but reality and History say so. 😥
@chuletaization

@@dosdannys I agree with that analysis. I would add that American interests as conceived by Kissinger were never the interests of most Americans. They are, as you pointed out, the interests of the oligarchy.
