Here is the way not to ask your spouse: "I made plans to go out with my friends on Friday night. Is that ok with you?" Well if it isn't ok with the spouse, now they feel like a heel because you have to cancel with the friends and it is embarrassing for you and your spouse. So ask first before you make the plans.

I wish I had chemistry with my husband the way you two have with each other. One of my prayers is for us to laugh more with each other and to enjoy each other’s presence.

'Too prideful to go and learn; I thought I would just learn on my own, and I didn't'. Such a great statement from Dave. That's a major mistake spouses make.

😂 ❤️ guys... ugh communication can't be overstated. My thing is I feel like I'm the only one trying to learn and do better, financially, spiritually, communicating, ect...

Marriage is very Very VERY hard work and I don't recommend it... I've been struggling with it every year for twenty five years now. It's good deal for her (wife), but I feel that I was stupid and naive thinking that sex life would be great... It's been horrible for me and only getting worse with the house becoming Empty Nest.

I know a good sex life is very important to a man but the man needs to show his wife love and respect also, I am speaking from experience.

@@kimacker8594 So, you assuming that I don't & that's her reasoning for rejecting me?!?!... Nope. (Maybe the first few years, I'll admit to being immature back then, just getting out of my teenage years). I've been Extremely patient, even according to her. She's been stubborn and she has been avoiding a Lot of people. She's estranged from her mother (b/c of her own stubbornness). She's an extremely avoidance person who has Lost doctors due to this situation. I'm constantly frustrated about how much she wants to blame her epilepsy. So far, this is my number one issue. I just don't see marriage as a fair institution, especially for men anymore. I've got a decent marriage, but most people don't think like I do. I just can't walk away from a covenant, even if I've been struggling with it. I have to many family members that have gone through divorce and with my own personal stress from marriage, again, I definitely don't think that it's worth the effort.

@@disgrazed7647 No sir, I am not assuming that and I'm sorry that you are in an unhappy marriage. I know marriage is very hard, I have been married for 34 years to the same man. We work together and have been through some very hard times, but these times have also brought me closer to the Lord because I have decided to serve my husband. I have wanted to leave many times but I stick with it because I know the Lord will bless me and I believe eventually my husband will come around.
