As a single parent with a pool I was always afraid of my youngest by 14 years falling in my pool. So from the time he was a baby we played a game called oops I fell in the pool. Although my pool is fenced and all the doors leading to the pool had high latches, sure enough during the winter he managed to open a gate and fell in the pool trying to get a ball. Even though he could not swim much at all he was saved by the game where he learned that as soon as he was falling in he would reach for the edge and go hand over hand to the steps or ladder. I did not even know he had fallen in until he came back through the gate and rang the front door bell, soaked and crying. I had only taken my eyes off him for a couple minutes and would have lost him if he had not learned to save himself. I saw the look on your face my friend when you thought for just a second of losing Lenny. I felt that way for days after.

11:00 When I was 7 or 8 I had to get a shot. I knew even before we went to the doctor that I had to get a shot and as the time grew closer I got more and more anxious. When the nurse walked in with a little covered tray she wasn't fooling anyone. I knew what was under the cover and was ready to jump out the window. She set the trey down smiled and asked if I liked magic. Of course I liked it. She had me think of a number between 1 and 100 and had me concentrating on the number as hard as I could. When she finally took her guess she wasn't even close. I opened my eyes disappointed and realized she had just showed me the best magic trick ever. While I was concentrating on my number she gave me the shot and I didn't even feel it. I realized that the vast majority of the pain from the needle actually came from my own anxiety. I won't say the pain wasn't real, any pain you actually feel is real pain, but I was making it hurt worse by expecting it to hurt. Most of the pain came from my mind, not the needle. Ever since shots don't bother me at all.

I've never stopped watching. When I started watching you years ago I went back to your first video and binge watched to catch up. Don't worry about missing some videos. Family is what it is all about. Enjoy your time and share when you can.

Kinda new it when he disappeared off camera while you were talking. One minute in the background, next gone…. We’ll done! Hopefully he will take that experience to the ocean with him. Awesome you had that experience in a controlled environment. Good on yah!

Loved this episode - brought back so many memories (my wife and I raised two very energetic boys). Would not trade a minute of those experiences for anything! Live and cherish every second, they will be grown before you know it!!

Oh my gosh!!! Riley's hopping at 5km to keep Darwin happy had me cracking up! 🤣😂🤣 Also, thanks for sharing your lives with us

Had many "Special Dinners" go that way with the kids going nuts and changing up the plans. Great memories of when mine were that young. I'm still cracking up at pushing the candles into the cake and how proud he was of it. You guys are fantastic!

You guys are such a great team. Loving how chatty Lenny has become, what a beautiful boy. And what a cutie Dar is, despite needing Riley to do a gig to get him to sleep.
