If you've already been how did it go?! Did the nerves disappear when you were there for a bit? I understand that feeling... Mostly because I don't want to be in other peoples way :(

Good on you for getting out there. You smashed it and can see the improvement from beginning to end. I received my first new MTB for 15 years today because I want to get back out and on the trails. Feels so good to be out

Aw thank you, I'm glad the improvement can be seen :D it definitely does feel good to be out on the bike! Do you go to bike parks or some local trails in the woods (if you have any near you!)

@@flynnrow I live North Notts so have plenty of woods near me to bomb around. Not sure of any good bike parks near me to be honest but Sherwood Pines has good flowing trails and jumps. How often are you able to get out? Do you have any trails around near you so you can get out exploring?

That's nice that you have some woods around you to get out to :) I didn't realise there was so many trails up in the woods around me to be honest, I'm going to have to go exploring and let you guys know my findings haha. There is an area up in the woods that I went to two weeks ago (which is in my next video) but it was awesome! I can only get out on the weekends due to work :( how about you?

@@flynnrow It's amazing what you can find when you get out looking for these trails. Often people walk straight through or down/up an bike trail without even realising it :D Can be difficult to get out with a young family but i'm going to try and get out a few times a week

Definitely, I'm going to try to tick off some trig points soon and I'm sure whilst making my way to them I'll notice some decent trails to go out on the bike :) I can imaging, but it's always good to be able to get out on the bike once in a while. I hope your goal of getting out on the a few times a week has been doable lately :) a very late reply, I do apologise, I'm terrible on social media sometimes.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm only now bringing myself to sit down after almost 2 weeks of being absent from KZitem :( but thank you so much for the message! And I'm really glad my content helps. I make these videos for personal progress, and I like to edit videos so I thought I'd combine the two and show others the beginner stages, I hope it does resonate with others and show them that they're not alone :) How long have you been riding for??

Nice one Flynn! well done for getting out there. been a few years since Ive been out on my bike on the trails, they can be very intimidating. I am such a wimp when it comes to anything technical like jumps etc 😅 I need to get back out there now the good weather is coming in, but my bike is currently in my spare room busted haha. Probably better off replacing it rather than getting it fixed at this stage as it is like 9 years old with the last 3 of those being sat busted in my spare room... n honestly now after watching you out there I am very tempted! 😂

The weather has helped immensely in me getting out to the bike park to be honest! I mentioned to Pain in another comment, go and perhaps rent a bike from a near bike park (if possible) and get the feel for it again! I was a little impulsive and bought my bike second hand from another bike park but I'm glad I did :D

yeah i do know that several parks I've been to do rent bikes, though I think Id be more likely to push myself oot the door with my own bike. Im off from tomorrow so I think ill go do some bike shopping then haha. Usually get my bikes from the cycletowork scheme, so spread the cost over the year n works out cheaper. Also judging from yer shadow, you use a full face helmet? What do you use to record?
@flynnrow
Жыл бұрын
Well a colleague of mine saw I had my bike and he took his to get it serviced and went out on the weekend if that gives you more of a push to get that bike out of your spare room! The cycle to work scheme sounds good. Yeah I have a full face helmet and I use the GoPro 11 with the vented helmet strap mount but I play it on the chin, I had to tighten it up from time to time but it works a charm

It definitely does help, it also gives you a great workout so that's another positive 😁 Glad to hear it! When you eventually go I hope you enjoy. I can't say much for the red and black trails but it's a really nice bike park for beginners that's for sure :)
