Hank visits Brocket Hall, his Blitztime birthplace.
A stately home owned in the past by a Nazi sympathiser, Brocket Hall is a magnificent pile in Welwyn just outside London. Home to several Prime Ministers including Lord Melbourne and Lord Palmerston and Lady Caroline Lamb it has a colourful and rambunctious history.
Filled with Regency shenanigans and also birthplace of the Waltz in England, Hank reflects on the irony of being born of a Communist mother in a Nazi's stately mansion while the Luftwaffe flew overhead and under the full Blood Moon blasted Coventry to the other side of nowhere.
