Unfortunately, the device lacks the "warmth" in the low frequencies so that it sounds slightly "electric" .... Too bad, otherwise a nice part.

Great concept but the lack of AptX LL pretty much makes this unusuable on a desktop scenario. Which is a shame because Qualcomm discontinued it.
@Quickloaded

Based on the specs it looks like it can transmit aptX LL, but cannot receive it. If your scenario is to connect it to your PC and transmit sound to your aptX LL capable headset, then it sounds like it should work, right?

Do you know why I can see the white light that indicates that LDAC is being used? I only have it connected to my pc via USB, nothing else, and it still allows me to switch between LDAC and SBC. Is it just a false positive? or actually really I am using LDAC?

@@FiiOOfficial im usign BTA30Pro. with the pro version then it is not necessary to send the audio to the fiio by optical cable to use LDAC? is only usb enough? If so, I would also like to answer a question: if I have both options to use LDAC, which would be better? by usb? or by optical cable to pass the audio and USB as a power source? Would there be or would there be any difference between the two types of connection? Or would you perceive any improvement with one of the two connections?

Helllo, Im looking for way to reduce audio volume. Does anyone know if this device is capable of it? My setup is this: Playstation 1 (modded with HDMI output) - HDMI Audio segregator (Vention) - TOSLINK to EVOLVEO AudioConverter XS with Bluetooth 5 to bluetooth headphones. My problem is that even the lowest volume is too loud. Some headphones do have trouble to even adjust the volume. Volume controls on EVOLVEO AudioConverter XS doesnt help in this. FiiO BTA30 caught my eye becouse of its volume knob. I want to reduce the volume by a lots. I tried to reduce the volume in some games and I can go to 1/5th and then I feel its right. What do you think, can this device help me to reduce the volume?

Hi! I have not quite understood how this product works in my specific situation: I want to buy the Sony wh-1000xm4 headphones which supports LDAC and functions well with my Samsung Galaxy S10+ (Android 11) when tweeking in developer opions. The sound is amazing! I wonder how/if this product would help me get the same amazing LDAC sound quality when I play music via my PC (Windows 10) on Spotify Premium? I am basically looking for a product that can provide the same (or perhaps better) LDAC sound quality wirelessly when the Sony wh-1000xm4 is connected via my PC (Spotify Premium) so I don't have to use my phone to change music track or raise/lower volume. Will this product help me with this issue? In other words: can I with this product to listen to Spotify Premium via my PC (Windows 10) with the same sound quality (and same/better LDAC range for an area the size of one small living room) and Spotify functions as with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S10+)?

You could connect the optical output of your computer to the optical input of the BTA30. Then connect the Sony 1000XM4 to the BTA30 via Bluetooth.

Hello I have a question. Right now Im using my TV connected to my Marantz AMP via 3.5 mm to Rca cable, because the AMP doesn't have digital inputs. If I get this device to use the optical output of my TV and connect it to the AMP via the RCAs on BTA30 will I notice a big improvement in sound quality compared to the Aux output? I use the TV for streaming music, movies and gaming.

The BTA30 is using the AK4490 DAC chip. So generally, it could improve the sound quality from TV output. And due to individual preferences, you could read the professional reviews and comparisons, as well as try out by yourself.

Why is LDAC not supported via a USB connection? Is the device going to get any firmware updates in the future to add support?
@FiiOOfficial
3 жыл бұрын
It resulted from our product location (cost control) and lack of awareness about the current market. Mainly, the USB input process of the BTA30 is handled by the CSR8675 chip yet without the LDAC transmitting codec provided by Sony. If the BTA30 is popular among consumers, we would consider an independent USB chip added in the future, such as the commonly-used XMOS chip. In this way, the USB data would first be converted to I2S signals and later be transmitted to the 8675 chip, which supports LDAC transmitting. As for the question of whether it would support the LDAC transmitting via USB-in in the future, we would like to say that if SONY supports us, we would definitely make it. Otherwise, it would be impossible. But nowadays, we just cannot assure it.

If your PC supports only the USB output but not coaxial or optical output, the LDAC Bluetooth output of BTA30 is not supported at that time.

You could connect the optical output port of the PS4 to the optical input port of the BTA30. Then the BTA30 could output to the speaker via the lineout port or Bluetooth.
